Not Jamaican but dancehall was my main music genre growing up. I was like in 9th grade when this came out. I remember how so many artists made songs about big dances I seen on Passa Passa Wednesdays, Dutty Fridaze and Premier Saturdays lol. But many artists made songs to bring the focus back to us loving us, the music, dances and vibe. Shit was real heavy after Bogle was murdered unjustly. People made songs blaming certain people...yeah...in South Georgia, I heard and remembered that. This tune, RDX, Tazz from Timeless making the tune Powercut, Sample 6, DnG and Chiney, Doctor Bird..just off the top of my head lol
