Nobody can copy his voice. His voice has special and soulful. Especially when I listen to his part and run so comfortable, effortlessly he makes the songs so luxurious and wealthy.
I think D.O. recorded vocals don't do him justice. They put too much compression and EQ on his voice to go well with other members, but it make his voice less powerful ans soulful. In live performance we can see how much power, agility and soul he hold. That's why he he always so pleasant to hear live even more than recoded. This video sums up my thoughts. Thank you! I don't know if it's to surprise us with his solo or a way to let shine other members, but since the war album the mixing on Kyungsoo's voice isn't the best. I've heard a lot of fan saying that his voice is lower than Jongdae and Baekhyun while it's totally false. Kyungsoo voice is full (he have a lot of harmonic) The perception of pitch can be altered by a low pass filter (that cut high frequency), making you feel he is lower while he isn't. Kyungsoo raw vocals is so satisfying especially in exordium seoul, bcz the vocals there is raw, they not edited and layered it too much like in japan con...i suggest if someone doubts kyungsoo's ability in live singing should given this video, it summarised all of kyungsoo raw voice...
