Record yield of spring barley with the Compact Solitair KH drill combination [2024]

High yields with LEMKEN seed drill combinations and the right sowing technology: US farmer Dustin Miller has been relying on LEMKEN seed drill technology for years.
With the Compact Solitair KH drill combination, he recorded a yield increase of 15% to 160-170 bushels/acre in the first few years compared to his previous drill. He was able to increase this even further in 2023: with 200.97 bushels per acre (equivalent to 13.515 t/ha), the farmer set the national yield record for spring malting barley in the USA in 2023.
To become even more effective and due to new technical features, he would like to switch to the new 9 m (30 ft) wide Solitair DT from the LEMKEN drill combination range in the future.
