It’s great to see this kind of video. Trying to save $ and be more mindful about my purchases. This kind of minimalist approach brings out my creativity with fashion. I tend to want all the new styles and latest color pairings, but I’ve found my own style suffers when I do that (not to mention my wallet) and it really stifles my creative flow in other areas too. I find I feel much better about myself when I know I’ve put effort into what I wear out to meet the world. I feel relaxed and communicate better, and there’s no competition because I’ve put together outfits that are uniquely my own. Good or bad I’m in a class by myself then. Besides IT’S FUN!!! Refreshing video Kalyn! Thank you🍂🍁🌚 OH, and I think you look gorgeous in the plaid pants. Shows off your leg shape to perfection!

YES love the sustainable effort!! You could do a thrift haul pretty much guilt free if resisting the shopping urge is hard, plus you can donate some of the pieces you don't wear at the same time :)
Hey! I'm REALLY LOVING the format of having like 30 different outfits for one concept ESPECIALLY with things you already have in the closet. Much less wasteful than buying new outfits. I like the big chunk of outfits vs. like a 5 outfit lookbook too! It is a lot more realistic to style I think.

I understand the need to promote new things (even threadup and poshmark) as someone who makes a living on youtube and honestly, hell yeah get that coin. But its also cool to see people use what they have and its amazing to see people be creative with giving things in THIER closets new life because most of us don't get sponsored by brands we love.

I took part in something called "second hand September" last month which basically involved not buying anything new but I thrifted and shopped around in local charity shops (second hand shops). I was thrilled to get so many cute fall jumpers, dresses and most of all the perfect burgundy boots (new) and I enjoy wearing all my creations right now. I should also probably mention I'm 8 months pregnant and got away with buying the right fit but a size larger clothes not so much maternity style and the ones I got were gifted so I never over spend and I plan to pass them on as well. I liked this a lot more than seasonal hauls! Inspiring people to use what they have is great! Fast fashion is just as much an issue for the environment as the amount of plastic, etc we use! Totally wish I could rock the kind of looks that you can pull off, maybe one day!!!!

These outfits are so cute, and as someone who works in a casual office environment, most of these are work appropriate for me or would only need slight variations which I love. I also love that you based it around staple pieces that many of us likely already own! I hope to see this style of video for seasons to come, but I do understand that this one was probably quite a time commitment! Props to you for hanging everything back up right away.. I feel like I speak for most of us when I say that for me that would create a huge mess on my floor :)
