Bio: Watch your step when treading around the darker parts of the Melodimental Caves. Slipping around here means you’ve probably stepped on the wrong stone, or in this case, a Battemanta. Though this monster is mainly found in the water, they do skitter on land sometimes. Luckily for them, being stepped on is not that big of a deal. Their obsidian-colored skin is very sturdy, and well, you can’t really flatten what is already flat. But a Battemanta in a pinch will set up a party of flashy patterns and flailing tails, either beating a rock or rocking a beat.
