But I'm still a bit cautious. Even if the rates drop, it doesn’t mean inflation won’t spike back up later
It's great that inflation is slowing, but it feels like we’re not out of the woods yet. The prices of everyday stuff have been so high for so long, and it’s hard to believe a few rate cuts will fix everything overnight
Exactly. I mean, sure, lower rates might help ease some pressure, especially for people looking to buy homes or refinance, but what about protecting our savings? I’ve been thinking about inflation-indexed investment schemes lately, something that can keep up with rising prices
That’s a smart move. I've been looking into those too. My advisor actually recommended a mix of inflation-protected securities a while back based on my unique financial goals. It’s been working out pretty well, especially when inflation was peaking.
Who is your licensed fiduciary, I feel like now's the time to make sure my investments can handle whatever the Fed throws at us next
Do your due diligence
His name is Joseph Nick Cahill
I'm 54 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, and we are finding it impossible to replace them. We can get by, but can't seem to get ahead. My condolences to anyone retiring in this crisis, 30 years nonstop just for a crooked system to take all you worked for.
I feel your pain mate, as a fellow retiree, I'd suggest you look into passive index fund investing and learn some more. For me, I had my share of ups and downs when I first started looking for a consistent passive income so I hired an expert advisor for aid, and following her advice, I poured $30k in value stocks and digital assets, Up to 200k so far and pretty sure I'm ready for whatever comes.
If you are not in the financial market space right now, you are making a huge mistake. I understand that it could be due to ignorance, but if you want to make your money work for you...prevent inflation
I feel Investors should exercise caution with their exposure and.exercise caution when considering new investments, particularly during periods of inflation. It is advisable to seek guidance from a professional or a licensed expert in order to navigate this recession and achieve potential high yields
In the 50's my Dad worked a modest job, Mom stayed at home and raised the kids, and they lived a nice middle class lifestyle including owning a home. Nowadays both I and my partner works and can barely afford to make ends meet. Soon the kids and family dog will need to work to keep this household going. It's the destruction of the American dream right before our eyes.
Tracy Britt Cool Consulting was my hope during the 'bear summer' last year. I made so many mistakes but also learned so much from it, and of course from Tracy.
The rate of inflation is decreasing, not prices. Things are still becoming more expensive, just less quickly.
Price gouging by monopolies. It’s not rocket science
Ugh….. Who? Which monopoly? Who contributed to which campaign?
The prices will never go down once they raised it. It’s called corporate gouging and greedy people!
Indeed, greedy people buying on credit. The debt bubble will soon burst.
Apparently you haven't paid attention to all the exposed corporate price gouging!
Inflation is the devaluation of currency
ce gouging can broadly be defined as when sellers charge more for a product than the fair market dictates based on supply and demand in order to make a higher profit, typically taking advantage of an adverse situation-think ballpark vendors charging twice the normal gameday price for a bottle of water when it’s 100 degrees.
What’s the fair market price for things? Jesus Christ, this makes me lose faith in the democratic process.
Once a price has been inflate it’s not coming down.
It’s price gouging. I work at a whole sale supplier and I see the mark up on our products daily and it does not sit well with me knowing that my customers are being ripped off. But I don’t set the prices, I just sell products at what they are set at. I can only cut prices for large quantity orders.

Lowering inflation rates just means slowing prices from going up.
Ever been told by your landlord that your rent is going down?
This economy is a joke.
Billionaires are just price gouging. You can never stop greedy people from running greedy corporations. These billionaires will do anything to stay billionaires.
We all got a raise so they lowered the value of the dollar so the ceos and execs could take our money back
I just paid $3.99 for a dozen eggs not fancy eggs just regular non organic non free ranging eggs yall 🤨dafuq
Wait till those eggs 🥚 are $20
There is a Bird flu harming chicken farmers they lost millions of birds over the last few years and still a problem right now. You can search on that problem on youtube, look up chicken bird flu issue
From $37K to $65K that's the minimum range of profit return every month I think it's not a bad one for me, now I have enough to pay bills and take care of my family.
Wow that's huge, how do you make that much monthly? I'm 37 and have been looking for ways to be successful, please how??
he is Expert Morgan Williams
YES!!! That's exactly he name ( Morgan Williams) so many people have recommended highly about he and am just starting with he 😊 from Brisbane USA 🇺🇸
I Just withdrew my profits week ago, To be honest it was an amazing feeling when the profits hits my wallet I wish I could reinvest but, too much bills.
Spot-on, I would always rate he signals as one of the best ever used 100% accurate.
No, we need around 20yrs of deflation... what is this lady smoking!
it amazes me how it takes time to decrease the inflation but the increase of inflation can happen immediately
The increase was not immediate the FED cut rates when COVID just kicked off, and it took until 2022 to reach the peak of 9% so it took around 2 years. Then the FED hiked rates and it also took around 2 years to get to where we are now.
Transportation fuel cost is a major part of the inflation problem in all products and services.
Price gouging.
Duhhh....corporate greed??
Prices only fall during economic deflation or through competition. The policies and laws that artificially raised energy and labor costs remain.
High gas prices. It's costing more for transporting goods and services.
Inflation means that we shouldn't get married, we shouldn't bring kids, we shouldn't live!!.. Simply being alive sucks 💔💔
Well, because of greedy people running big corporations. Simple. They make normal people's lives miserable. They want us to be slaves let's be honest.
5% is not high. The country is so overleveraged they can't breathe.
What about the corporate gouging that has taken place? We also have not been addressing the antitrust problems.
price gouging
Other than price gouging, the reduction in the inflation rate is not in the negative territory (deflation), so prices are still high.
I love that Harris said she was going to "fix" prices on food. Good luck with that if she wins! Price fixing guarantees either A. Food shortages due to not being able to afford to ship your goods because your product is priced too low, or B. Worse inflation if the government subsidizes the price "fix" by paying producers directly.
Because inflation isn’t decreasing. What a joke
GREED
Corporate greed is why inflation is here.
All my bills went up this month by $100 i am now struggling worse. There is NO reasoj why everything keeps going up. Everyone is sick of it. Its greed. Its time to stand up. Im sick of stressing out over money.
Inflation is so high somedays I go without food
It looks America really thinks about inflating out of their public debt (35000 billion dollars).
Greed
The consumer prices aren't dropping with the inflation rate dropping. That's because monopolies have a strangle hold on the supply chain. With little competition there's little need to lower prices. In addition, (if you've been following recent actions of DOJ) you would know that software programs that facilitate price fixing are now in the sights of government intervention. SoJill's analysis is incorrect. It would apply if we had normal competition, but we do not. Monopolies in production, distribution, housing, even nitorgen production are paying less to producers while charging more to consumers. Just look at their profits. Please do some research.
Stop buying things and they will all get the hint.
Because all food retailers stick together, ensuring we HAVE to use one or the other of them for our groceries.
Then why is FTC going after price gouging?
Grocery monopoly. Kroger owns everything and they are about to buy Albertsons. Food products are owned by only a few companies as well
I'm an american and I might have to go on strike soon 😒😒😒😒
they cherry pick whatever data suits their opinion or narrative they want to sell.
Lame mans term: inflation steady
Money down 😢
They are high because of Bideonomics, lol.
Boycott
9/16/24 Gold hit a new high this morning the dollar is dropping and inflation is very much alive.
That’s capitalism baby
I guarantee if wages go up, companies will just increase their prices as a result. Prices should go down. Grocery stores for example made killer profits as a result of covid. Cashiers are nearly non-existent. Food prices are higher. Essentially I pay more and do more (I always scan and bag my own groceries) so the owners can make more money.
Now we can say inflation with out being deleted
There is no way back
'Cause We are stupid.
Greed.
I hope they continue to raise Social Security checks with wages because it’s not looking so promising for the retired people.
@@markvictor8776 You have that partly correct. Retired people vote for the candidate that will PREVENT Medicare & Social Security benefits from being cut. The Republicans big plan is to cut benefits for the retired.
$55/lb for bananas? Fake news
And those of us who are self-employed cannot magically make our wages “go up.” Our customers determine our wages, and our customers refuse to pay more for landscaping services.
Corporate Greed, Profit, Profit. Prices, Like Taxes Never Drop! Don't Expect Help From The Fed! Despite A Tanking Economy, Prices Will Stay High!
All the idiots in the comments with their "Price gouging" answers smh. Prices don't go down unless inflation is negative. (which almost never happens)....did you people even watch the video??? Or perhaps you don't understand it.....
You paying idiots bills 💸 Skippy 😂❓
Amazingly most comments say company greed 😂😂😂😂 but those same people rely on these same businesses to employee them 😂😂😂😂
