HaHa, a nice and honest reaction man. I like the song actually. The basslines are killer and I like the breakdown as well. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
I really do like TRiDENT, but I'm not sure if I will buy DUX. Honestly I'd have prefered a new mini album with 5 new songs. To be fair I haven't listened to the full DUX 'song composition' yet, but it doesn't include a lot of my favourite songs either (Spoopy, Spice!, endroll) so I'm not sure if that will change anything. Just listened to 'U' though and really enjoyed that one ;)
Haha(母) heißt im japanischen Mutter( und ich denke es geht um Mutter Erde, hab mir die texte nicht angesehen) .
@@react-o-mat They type wwww instead of lol (online) because laughing is warau in Japanese. In the media I have seen they would say, hehehe, hohoho, kekeke, fufufu and I think also hahaha. I have found a page with that question that has 15 different answers or something like that, although a lot of those are probably mainly used in media (anime/games). The 母 (haha) as in mother they are talking about has a different pitch accent, so it's not that confusing. Pitch accent in Japanese is really difficult for us Western people to grasp because most of our languages use stress accents and it makes it difficult for us to hear in some cases. Eg. "kami" can mean paper, hair, god and who knows what else and in the case of paper and hair the pitch accent is even the same so it all depends on context. It is written differently (in kanji), but in spoken language, they basically sounds the same. Edit: And sorry, while I can read/understand some German so I could understand your question (by being from Belgium and speaking Dutch), I never learned it and absolutely can not write it.
I had a very similar reaction, the breakdown and bass breaks are cool, but overall the chorus is too simple and is repeated a lot of times. Sounds like they’re just trying to write something more accessible and therefore marketable perhaps? It’s sad when you see bands writing interesting and complex stuff getting hardly any views compared to a lot of idol stuff. I won’t say compared to j-pop cause to be fair there’s a lot of that which has complexity too
For me this one is semi-unlistenable with all the overproduction/autotune and the overly J-Pop chorus and I had to actively forcing me to not skip it on first listen (I had not checked out any of their MVs nor the tracklist of the new album). Not sure why they decided to go the J-Pop/Alt Idol route, but I have a feeling they are going that direction as a whole with their last couple of releases and the new outfits they are wearing. There is almost nothing left of their original punky sound of their first album (I am not talking before the name change) and this honestly sound like a different band to me. The fact that this is one of the only 2 new tracks on this album (and I am not a huge fan of the other new one either, but at least that one is objectively pretty well done) is making this "new" album even worse for me. What a waste of talent. I wish them all the best, but I am probably done with buying/importing their studio releases. What is it with all these Japanese bands making Alt Idol tracks nowdays, the new Nemophila single is not that much better, the difference is probably even starker than this with even more autotuned vocals.
@@react-o-mat I guess that makes a lot of sense as a Babymetal fan and such. I know a lot of people seem to really like it, so I understand why bands do it, but I always have the urgency to turn it off when I hear that style of vocalproduction and these type of synths. It pains me to hear bands that I enjoy start to go in that direction because of that. I blame PassCode for this ;) (not really).

❤❤❤🤘🤘🤘
This one grows on you, it’s got a lot of layers. It’s very TRiDENT. DUX is out. Mine’s in LA…😊

Ah danke für die Info! Wie würde man dann ein Lachen (Hahaha) auf japanisch formulieren? 🤔
@react-o-mat わわわ ( wawawa ) das W wird aber wie ein H ausgesprochen ✌️

It really does seem like a lot of groups are going in that direction currently! But I really like Alt-Idol, so I cannot complain too much xP
