I finally learned how to use this about 2 weeks ago and it's soo good. I learned that you have to release the right trigger before the left and that's how you make it straight

I love jump cannoning. It's actually much easier than you think. Two ways you can do it: The first is how you showed. The second is in 3rd person, but you wait till you are almost on the ground in front of them before releasing, It's so close you rarely miss. However, I do play on PC, and it is much easier to aim with a mouse, so that might be a big difference. Another thing to keep in mind is that you can once in awhile get a double kill if people are close enough together. It's incredibly rare, and I haven't had it happen in forever. I play mostly Walker Assault, and the pulse cannon is my go to weapon in my primary hand for most maps, aside from endor and survivors on endor where I go for the thermal det.

I can proudly say I'm really good with the pulse cannon. I almost always get the kill, no matter if the enemy is running or jumping. Pro tip: your reticle in 3rd person will turn GREY when you are aiming against a wall, with both normal guns and cycler/ pulse cannon in ADS. So remember before you peak and shoot, lookt at your reticle and check if its grey or white to avoid hitting a wall. Same goes for awkward smart rockets to the wall in front of you :p
+Flinkerkobold Unfortunately that doesn't help at all when the wall is light colored, you have 5 enemies around the corner....smoke, explosions and lazers shooting everywhere and a limited time to peak out before you get fried.
OTAKU yeah ofc :D it might not help in a tight situation where enemies are swarming you, its still useful tho when you are sniping at long range to check so you dont waste your pulse on the piece of cover youre sitting behind

One more tip: fully charged headshot kills do not register as head shots but any partially charged shot to the head will get the kill and the headshot bonus, just line up the shot, tap the trigger and boom! Really useful for the long range head shots challenge 😀

When I was working on the Relby V10 hutt thing I was using the T21B and found that in first person view it was MUCH easier to aim and shoot . . . . . a kill.

This is some quality play - it reminds me of my play style. For me jet pack and pulse cannon are automatic requirements, the only variant is whether its explosive shot or scan pulse. Frustratingly this is because its pretty much the most consistent blend over all the random games i choose because unfortunately you only get 2 hands and partner hand. I'd describe it as a bit of a flaw in the game because it leaves you with no options when situations change significantly. If you go back to the old cs games and one shot snipers you needed to be still before firing the gun, i had suspected this was the same mechanic with the pulse cannon but for the life of me occasionally i would feel like i stopped long enough and it would misdirect away from my reticle. Im somewhat glad that is resolved as a "game issue". I have two marginally related questions which i would appreciate if you answered if you have the time: [I have read through the latest patch notes but strangely seen no comments in relation to either] 1# changes to bounty hunter?? I noticed the tool tip change to say something of the nature of instead of lvl 3 resetting cooldowns it lowers cooldowns? I've been playing with berserker(and i really dont get much if any time to play) so i havent had a chance to realise the difference. It relates obviously as many sniper combo's use it for quick resets of pulse cannon. Do you have any specific details on lvl 3 changes to bounty hunter? 2# changes to health regen, i recall my health beginning to regen a few seconds after taking no damage but now it feels like its crazy long like 5+ seconds or something stupid. It relates as some people play safe vs dx19 body shots and at range would sometimes just wait until they are fully healed before poking out again for an attack. /Cheers Bonestomp666

Otaku, towards the end of the video when you are explaining the risks of jetpacking and pulsing I see that your Jet pack charged in no time literally. it doesn't look like video editing or cutting. How do you achieve that, you immediately jump pack after landing from that shot. thanks
Ikr. I do it all the time. It makes me feel like a good player:) Usually do it on supremacy at spawn. Just jump right away and charge and get like 2 kills
+OTAKU I started to use the pulse cannon a few months ago but I didn't know that you had to charge it up so I stopped using it until recently. And Yesterday I was playing as Neeny Weeny on surpremacy and I shot Boba Fett with the pulse cannon and I took of a bunch of damage and then I killed him I also did that as normal infantry.

Otaku! I need your help! I know you said in your video that you can cancel a charged pulse cannon shot by pressing melee or another button, but none of that seems to work for me! Whenever I charge a shot no matter what I do it fires. I play on the Xbone, what am I doing wrong?
+Sondra Smith Make sure that you are not letting go of the fire button while trying to press another one. Melee or the same button you use to take out the pulse cannon are the safest options.
One time in The Endor Forest on Walker Assult, I hit a 180 Jump Cannon on a Speeder that was zooming by and the explosion killed a guy with low health next to him. This double no scope kill is my most MLG moment in my Battlefront history.

Go into the star cards and it should have an option to upgrade or buy more charges.

If you tap the trigger with the pulse cannon it will shoot a weak shot but if you headshot you will kill the enemy

Otaku! I need your help! I know you said in your video that you can cancel a charged pulse cannon shot by pressing melee or another button, but none of that seems to work for me! Whenever I charge a shot no matter what I do it fires. I play on the Xbone, what am I doing wrong?
press the same button which you use to pick the pulse cannon into your hand :)
+Sondra Smith Make sure that you are not letting go of the fire button while trying to press another one. Melee or the same button you use to take out the pulse cannon are the safest options.

One time in The Endor Forest on Walker Assult, I hit a 180 Jump Cannon on a Speeder that was zooming by and the explosion killed a guy with low health next to him. This double no scope kill is my most MLG moment in my Battlefront history.
