송가인의 고향, 노래의 섬 진도 명창들의 육자배기 모음 - 조공례, 신영희, 강송대 A Great Korean Soul Music from Jindo, Yukjabaegi

Yukjabaegi is a representative folk song of Jeolla-do and is included in Namdo Japga or Namdo Seonsori along with 「Boryeom」, 「Hwacho Intersection」, 「Heungtaryeong」, 「Frog Taryeong」, 「Saetaryeong」, and 「Seongjupuri」. “Yukjabaegi” is a 6-beat slow, long yukjabaegi followed by a 3-beat jajin yukjabaegi.
육자배기는 전라도의 대표적인 민요로 「보렴」·「화초사거리」·「흥타령」·「개구리타령」·「새타령」·「성주풀이」 등과 함께 남도잡가(南道雜歌) 또는 남도선소리에 포함된다. 「육자배기」는 6박의 느리고 긴 육자배기 뒤에 3박의 자진 육자배기를 잇대어 부른다.
