Notorious B.I.G. - Who shot ya

  • LYRICS
    - Yo, rakd fel "azt".
    - Big, mit mûvelsz?
    Néha felül kell emelkedj,
    de néha rá kell taposnod.
    - Ne énekeld azt..
    - Muszáj.
Yo, na figyeljetek. Ez a mûfaj a legjobb
    barátotokat az ellenségeitekké változtatja.
    Pac figyelmeztetett,
    de nem hittem neki.
Ezt a dalt pár hónapja írtam.
    Valószínûleg nem hisz nekem.
    De lehet, hogy senki sem.
    De õszintén, le se szarom.
    ------------
    Who shot ya?!
    Separate the weak
    from the obsolete
    Hard to creep
    these Brooklyn streets
    It's on, nigga
    Fuck all that bickering beef
    I can hear sweat
    trickling down your cheek
    Your heart beat sounds
    like Sasquatch feet
    Thundering
    shaking the concrete
    Finish this stuff
    when I foil the plot
    Neighbors called the cops
    when they heard mad shots
    Rolling in the drop
    three in the corner
    Slaughter, electrical tape
    around your daughter
    Old school, new school
    need to learn, though
    I burn, baby, burn
    like "Disco Inferno"
    Burn slow like blunts
    with yayo
    Peel more skins
    than idaho potato
    Niggas know
the lyrical molesting is taking place
    Fucking with B.I.G.
    It ain't safe
    I make your skin chafe
    Rough to the masses
    Bumps and bruises
    Cuffs and Land Cruisers
    Big Poppa smash fools
    hash fools
Niggas mad because they know that cash rules
    everything around me
    Two Glock nines
    Any motherfucker whispering about mines
    And I'm Crooklyn's finest
    You rewind this
    Bad Boy's behind this
    ...
    As we proceed
to give you what you need
    East Coast
    Bad Boy

Saw him perform this at Summer Jam 95 in Chicago Regal Theatre. This scene was very accurate in that 1, Big did not have a lot of hits at that time that could last a full song. But when he cut that record on it was the record that actually saved his career at the time because literally everyone hated Biggie.

I mean the fact that biggie foolishly put that song out right after Tupac was shot, which literally could be taken 100% as a diss on him is just so crazy. Caused Pac to get pissed, create the #1 best diss track of all time, and totally create beef between not only eachother, but the west and east also. Both ended up killed not exactly by eachother, but by what they rep, east and west. This is of course a bad thing but this is one of the most legendary feuds in hip hop. I did a tarot reading on this song and I belive this song was released because they thought it would be successful and that this song would catapult Biggies career. I don't believe it was done with malice towards Tupac after all it was recorded months before the quad studios shooting. Although it was reckless to and a lapse in judgment to release seeing what happened right before, but Puffy wanted Bad Boy records to become successful allegedly. Overall this song has immortalized biggie and made him a star and gave him greater opportunities and success
