    ಜೀವ ಬಯಕೆ ಎಲ್ಲ ಕಾಲಕ್ಕೂ ಸತ್ಯ. ಆದರೆ ಅದರ ಗಾಯನ ಅದ್ಭುತ.

In this Vachana; Akka Mahadevi (AM) is telling her elder sister (Akka) a dream that she had. In her dream, she sees auspicious items such as akki (rice), adike (beetle nuts), and thenginakayi (coconut). She also sees a tall and handsome gorava (beggar) who has chikka chikka jade (plaited hair) and good-looking teeth (sulipalla) coming to her doorstep begging. When she comes out of her house to give alms, she sees the beggar has already left and is walking away. Just then, she realizes that the beggar is none other than the Lord SHIVA. She runs behind the beggar, holds his hand, and looks at him (Chenna Mallikarjuna). Right at that moment, her dream ends, and she opens her eyes. What a miracle! Can you imagine seeing and holding hands with Lord SHIVA, for whom you have been worshiping all your life? I have no words to explain that moment that Akka Mahadevi experienced.
