Please there is another collection I have forgotten the group that sang it. I use to love it in the late 80s as a kid. I am from Cameroon and doesn't understand Igbo to play some of the lyrics for someone to quickly identify the group band. But like part of the song in English goes this way......He wrote my name with her golden pen, he wrote my name, he wrote my name, my name is there. Another part is....Bia Evelyn ne bia, Bia Evelyn ne bia Please anyone here to help?
Good old days. You could hear these songs blasting from high mounted loud speakers 🔊 across neighbouring communities and villages. At wake-keeps or funeral of a departed loved one. These tracks were listened to with utmost serenity, quietness and solemnity. There were no wild dancing or worldly moves like what we see these days. Give me that old time religion. Really missed those days.
I can't believe myself that I finally found this song after many years of search....what a super gospel song from ages.
We are in the same boat. I have been searching ❤❤. Wow. God bless whoever made my day today for posting this.

"HE wrote my name with a golden pen" was sang by this same Presbyterian Choir... I guess. It's either in part B of this album or another
Praising God from the western part of naija, truly Igbo's got talent, when gospel song was being ditched out undiluted
