The colours of each type of word is really helpful, (that's what I was looking for to understand better how sentences are made in Armenian) ! ! Thank you for this video ! :-)
I’m Canadian and my bsf is Armenian and I’m always at his house and I’ve picked up on some Armenian so I thought I would learn some so this is very helpful
Apres, that's the perfect video for me! I'm stuck in an Armenian village for about three months already having a great experience. I heard most of the verbs already, very practical to review them^^
:D what a hilarious situation. It is probably hard to imagine a weirder place to be during a global pandemic :P But at least you can use the time to improve your Armenian ;) Always look at the bright side!
@@CuriousChrischannel I subscribed to your channel more than a year ago when I was about to go study in the Caucasus. First I wanted to go to Armenia but it turned out to be Georgia where I lived since last year. And Yeah, thanks to the funny coincidence that the border was just shut down while I was here I got the Chance to actually live here for a while and learn some Armenian😄 It'll turn out as a great experience looking back!
I have watched this video many many times over the last 3 weeks... thanks so much! I hope we get more of these from you.. more conjugations in different perspectives, tenses etc... :)
FANTASTIC!!! Amazing video!! Your classes are perfect!!! Please never stop!! You help us soooo much! Thank you so much!!! And if you go to Instagram, let us know!!! Small daily hints would be wonderful too ❤️❤️❤️
Really sweet feedback. Thanks sooo much you made me smile so big. Comments like yours are such a great motivation to make more videos! Since I work full-time in consulting the only time I usually have for videos is during the weekends and therefore it would be really hard to take care of Instagram at the same time. But thanks for the idea and I will for sure think it through!
Thanks for watching my videos. I will do more videos but since I work full-time I only have the weekends to spend more time in editing and youtube in general.
So actually to wet is trjel but we pronounce it as trchel to fly is trrchel so the difference is between r sound and rr sound r is softer rr is louder like in spanish porque and real
My best friend of almost twenty years is Armenian from Yerevan. We are like brothers . When learning Armenian is learning the letters and writen words more important than learning by hearing the language and its translation in English. What would you suggest. Thank you for sharing, Pedro from central California
@@CuriousChrischannel No problem my friend, You can make a note on your video description that audience can reduce the play speed to .75 if they feel the video path is too fast for them.
I can explain you the difference of western and eastern pronunciation In Eastern we call G, K’ and Q In Western they have only G and Q So the letters Պ, Կ, Տ, Ծ, Ճ In Eastern - P’, K’, T’, Tz’,Tzh’ In Western - B,G,D,Dz,Dzh And letters Բ, Գ,Դ, Ձ, Ջ In Eastern - B,G,D,Dz,Dzh In Western - Ph, Kh, Th, Ts, Ch

Canadian is a nationality, not an ethnic group.

hi i want more videos armenian it's interesting thank you
Thanks for watching my videos. I will do more videos but since I work full-time I only have the weekends to spend more time in editing and youtube in general.
Thank you for uploading such a helpful video! Just a question, How would you say the following? "to laugh at him" Is there a preposition needed?
Hey to laugh at him would be ծիծաղել նրա վրա. The last word would be վրա meaning onto over upon. Hope that helps you.
Your video is excellent. I appreciate the running writing on top to see how you link the letters. Do you have videos for Western Armenian also?
Since I speak Eastern Armenian I prefer to stick to Eastern but I might do a video explaining the differences :)
Thank you so much 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Great to hear that it helped you :)
Barev dzez. I am from Hungary, I also learn armenian. Shnorakalutyun. I have one question: what does the word txerq mean?
It means boys ... I guess you have read it in the context of the current conflict.
Armenians ofter refer to "txerq" when speaking about soldiers.
Oh wow, didnt't think i find a fellow Hungarian trying to learn the Armenian language lol
I thought to wet is called t'rrch'el. I am not sure though. Overall your video has been extremely helpful! Thank you :)

you seem too fast for a beginner to the listener. I recommend speed x 0.75 to really get the pronunciations. Good videos by the way. Thanks
Hey I tried to speak slow but yes maybe even that is too fast for a beginner. Thanks for the hint with reducing the speed 😊
@@CuriousChrischannel
No problem my friend,
You can make a note on your video description that audience can reduce the play speed to .75 if they feel the video path is too fast for them.
exellent
If you can, please do one in Western Armenian pronunciation.
I speak Eastern Armenian but I might do a video on the differences in pronunciation.
I can explain you the difference of western and eastern pronunciation
In Eastern we call G, K’ and Q
In Western they have only G and Q
So the letters Պ, Կ, Տ, Ծ, Ճ
In Eastern - P’, K’, T’, Tz’,Tzh’
In Western - B,G,D,Dz,Dzh
And letters Բ, Գ,Դ, Ձ, Ջ
In Eastern - B,G,D,Dz,Dzh
In Western - Ph, Kh, Th, Ts, Ch
Barev, dookh hai ekh t-he rus?
do you do private tutoring
No I don't I have a fulltime job and just do those videos every once in a while for fun :)
Is this Eastern or Western?
the words in general are both eastern and western. The pronunciation is eastern thought.
❤💙💛
