Man i love these breakdownds - i'm new into nuke after years in after effects and your videos are such a great way to understand nodebased compositing and structure in nuke ! Thank you so much , please keep going with these cool tutorials :)
Thanks so much. I am still planning a entire course about AE2Nuke. But been too busy at work. I did episode 1: ruclips.net/video/bKeZfxXDGNc/видео.html
Yes and thank you for returning. 2018 will be a lot more stable, I promise you. Now that I have a stable Patreon I promise a lot more regular videos. Join the fun for early access by supporting the channel in Patreon. And if you can't that's ok too, all videos will always be free and end up in the channel sooner or later. Thank you. www.patreon.com/hugosdesk
Sir, You are just great. That greatness you achieve from your experience. So, Upload your work ,I want to see your work throughout my whole life...........
thanks for the tips! i liked how you used the alpha to mask the paint! i havnt done that before! also using the grass alpha to use as your shadows is a smart touch!
Thanks for sharing this. Some pretty cool insights ☺️. Makes me want to try project mapping inside nuke. The only few times i did it was with 3d softwares, but i wanna try it with nuke now. Obrigado 😊
Hugo thanks a lot for these fantastic series of videos. I am learning a LOT! We all have to appreciate your time and dedication to them. In one of your keynotes you sarcastically refer to Maya as an application that literally "we all have to use, because everybody uses it". What makes you think of Maya that way? Thanks a lot again and keep it going. I will be one of your patreons soon when I get a little money in my credit card next month. Congrats (from Spain)
Hiii..! Hugo.. you are a brilliant man.. providing great stuff for advance compositing. but i got confused by the spider web. how do you manage connection of infinite node. please cover this issue in your other tutorial.
Really nice stuff Hugo! I wonder what your thoughts are on using nuke for a motiongraphics approach to creating similar stuff with more animated elements like text etc. Are you visiting FMX this year?
Thanks so much, yes has someone that came from After Effects, I think Nuke is great for Motion Graphics like this project. Yes, I am coming to FMX and presenting again. Presenting 1 Keynote, making 1 workshop and will also be in 2 panels. Busy week, lol. Thanks for watching.
Sorry, all my videos start with exclusive access for Patreon only and then they become available in RUclips. I forgot to remove the disclaimer. Thanks so much for watching.
Hugo's Desk Pro tip: if you don’t include it RUclips will show the same warning above the description while it’s unlisted, and then you don’t have to remember to edit it out.
You mean in the video? RUclips does not support annotations or links on top of videos anymore. Only of RUclips links or external sites. But I have Patreon in The my RUclips page and I talk about it in the video.
Great tutorial Hero. Keep rocking. We always love to listen you teaching.
Thanks so much

Hi Hugo thanks for share.... can you recommended Any camera projection course or tutorial... Use 3d sorftware ??... Thanks
Hiii..! Hugo.. you are a brilliant man.. providing great stuff for advance compositing. but i got confused by the spider web. how do you manage connection of infinite node. please cover this issue in your other tutorial.
Thanks so much for the kind words. Regarding your question, not sure I understand the question, could you give me more details?
@@HugosDesk he was talking about the node connections.... it looks very confusing
Brasil agradece pelos esplendorosos vídeo ❤️👏🏼
Nuke - when projecting the camera, the projected image on the 3d object is incorrectly displayed.
Advise me how - thanks
ok when do you use project 3d node and when . do you not need it? this is confusing
can you tell us how you create the shadow or if its from the matte painting passes?
The shadow is a layer in PSD also projected in 3D and then applied on the background using a grade node using that mask as a alpha mask.
Mate in every video your hair gets crazier.
Haha, well I am cutting it tomorrow, lol
Really nice stuff Hugo!

Why would you put the unlisted disclaimer in a listed video?
Sorry, all my videos start with exclusive access for Patreon only and then they become available in RUclips. I forgot to remove the disclaimer. Thanks so much for watching.
Hugo's Desk Pro tip: if you don’t include it RUclips will show the same warning above the description while it’s unlisted, and then you don’t have to remember to edit it out.
Thanks, mate.
Why don't you link to your patreon?
You mean in the video? RUclips does not support annotations or links on top of videos anymore. Only of RUclips links or external sites. But I have Patreon in The my RUclips page and I talk about it in the video.
In video description, I see incompetech links but not Patreon, I do believe this is the most place to place Patreon.
All done. Thanks for the support
After 4 minutes he says without further adoo
Complains complains complains... on a free video! Hahaha
