Chelsea fan here - good luck. Pleased you have finally got something to really look forward too. You got some exciting times ahead. You'll get stick and jealousy from some fans - notably liverpool fans who are already moaning about it, going on that you have no history, no morals, 'rent boys' etc (same old twaddle that lot spout out) - but I for one, like most Chelsea fans are happy for you. Just ignore all that and enjoy challenging for the title and being in the champions league down the line. I remember in the 80's both our clubs in division 2 and was always impressed by your support. So it's about time you had some good fortune. Bet you can't wait for the next couple of transfer windows. See you at the top.
Fantastic that Alan took the time to chat. What I dont want to see is money wasted on players who only come for a big pay cheque. I dont think thats what the majority of fans want either. Players either have to buy into the club, the passion of the fans and its history or go somewhere else.

I'm a Liverpool FC supporter from Sydney Australia and have two friends here who are Newcastle United supporters one from Newcastle England and another who's born here. i'm so happy for your clubs take over as your supporters deserve better and it will take time by rebuilding it from the ground up and it's not just in player signings which you will need a good 4-5 years for that but an upgrade to your stadium and a rebuild of your training ground from what i have heard is run down. Wishing you all the best and as a football supporter I hope to one day also watch a Newcastle game at St James Park as i have been twice to Anfield to watch Liverpool v Crystal Palace in 2017 and Liverpool v Arsenal in 2019 and also in 2017 watched Everton v Hajduk Split which was nice to watch live.

I'm not a Newcastle fan but even I'm excited to see who they sign. Been to Newcastle loads over the years visiting grandparents, great area. Hopefully it won't be long until to win the Prem.
It will definitely take longer than when City won it. City won it within 3-4 years of their takeover because an ageing Man United team was their only competition at the time. Now there's 3 "oil teams" in the division likely to dominate top 4 spots now, if PIF invest in Newcastle similar to Abu Dhabi United Group did with Man City, they will definitely reach heights but the competition to actually win the league will be stronger. Newcastle need an entire overhaul and depending on how much they spend per player it might take at least 5 years unless their recruitment is similar to Leicester's for the first 2 years.

Anyway we bumped Ste howey n started kicky ups with a mini footy. Days goes on find some miter trained n chuck me old ones in St James Park. It was just getting built the stand.
