For those of you who can't find *Equalization* in Audacity, it may have been renamed to *Filter Curve EQ* instead. In order to select the 100 Hz Rumble, click on the "Manage" button towards the lower left part of the window and select "Factory Presets".
If this solution is still too light: You can use the “high pass filter” effect (in audacity of course) for harsh pops like the one in the vid
thanks, works well
Yep that worked great!
Thank youuuuu!
thanks, i was thinking in the video the correction wasn't effective enough.
What if mine doesn't have the equalizer effect? Where do I get it?
That didn't remove it though. It only slightly diminished it. It's still clearly audible.
Got rid of my rumble-pop perfectly. I was working way too hard before using this effect. Thanks!
Happy to help :)
This really helped, makes the p sound natural without dampening it
Glad to be able to help :)
Don't have a pop filter, so this worked for what I needed! Thanks!
This is better than nothing!
@@Scoby Definitely! :D
Great tip dude! You have saved me another houring of re-recording!
Glad to be able to help :)
where are you finding equalization? only graphic EQ is showing up to me, i am using 2.4.1
@@FIRSTEBITOS Under 'Effect'. Though i'm on 2.3.2
@@TheRetroStuffGuy i understand it now, it was split between filter curve and grapic EQ, but the 100hz humble used in the video is no where to be seen, or atleat i dint found it

Use High pass filter in effects it helps too :)
That is not even available? WTF!
Equalization has been removed from Audacity. Any recommendations?

@@oscarwilson752 where is it? i am only finding grafic equalizator
Found the answer here - and using the High Pass Filter worked brilliantly! wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Removing_Artifacts
See "Filter Curve EQ" in the Effects menu.
@@jameskenny3159 thank you!
Good video but you talk way way way way too fast slow it down a bit and people can pay better attention to what you are saying... :)
I've slowed down a lot in more recent videos, but you can always use the speed settings on RUclips to get what you need :)
You're a lifesaver, thanks!
Happy to help! :)
I've got headphones on and I'm hearing a constant popping throughout this video 😂😂. Like, constantly (I don't think it was done on purpose)
Absolute lifesaver even 2.5 years later, thank you.
Thank you!
you are my hero
Thanksss!
Happy to help :)
Worked like a charm, you're a fucking legend !!!!
Gotchu man! :)
Very Great!!
Thanks! :)
Worked like magic - thanks!
Happy to help!
Brilliant, thank you
Happy to help :)
I just logged in to say: this is probably the best video on the internet. Did a 6 min vocal piece on a Yeti mic, and had around 6 pops in succession, and loads scattered elsewhere, almost ruined the track. This worked 100%. Had to use the double-pass on one. Thanks Scoby!
Just what I needed cheers mate! :D
