Authority is interesting to me, my ex pastor used his authority in an unrighteous way many times. I challenged him a few times on his poor attitude. I was the sound tech at my church and in charge of it. One service he made a command, to turn up the sound. I stated calmly, its wide open. He got ticked and told me to obey but it was impossible to do more than i was. I also reminded him, with due respect that he had a hearing impairment. He got irate, at this point after many issues with his abuse of power with many, i got up and walked out, during the service. I never came back.
Btw after a year of me leaving the entire worship team left due to his abuse of authority. Then 1/3 of his church left. Interesting that pastors get very carnal at times. They need to be challenged and tested. If they stay carnal then walk away.
