Glad they played this in the final episode. While I had hoped for more on Witch From Mercury and got more episodes, it at least sets up the universe to have more stories for the future as Ad Stella has gained so much popularity throughout the series.

Dude the animation in this is top notch, You can feel Aerial's weight as she lifts up at 0:51 and fires her boosters periodically to maintain level attitude. It's a very minor thing to think about, but its something that you notice subconsciously, and is a notoriously easy thing to miss. For the animators to think about stuff like that, man, hats off.
The same goes to the experience Pack's MS in episode when it got chop to pieces. The weight of pieces fallen to the ground is very satisfying

As much as we joke about these being lesbians the gundam. This is probably one of the most cinematic openings for gundam in a very long time while also keeping it up with modern animation quality
Also they brought back the 2D style for mechas not like Hathaway which has 2.5D

very characteristics of a Yoasobi song
With this song's message and how Aerial is literally part of Suletta's family (as a sister), the lyrics makes you read into two possible scenarios.
1. Aerial is that important, that it will not be replaced as main gundam (as opposed to setsuna transitioning from Exia to 00 for example) and will only be getting upgrade parts (ie. G-Reco's packs, or Barbatos remodelled to Barbatos Lupus).
2. Or in a sadder scenario, Aerial will be destroyed/sacrifice itself somewhere in the story, hence it giving a 'blessing' is its way to offer Suletta the push to move forward as she gets a new mobile suit
Ps. There is also the cop out scenario 3 where Aerial does sacrifice itself and the mobile suit itself is destroyed, but its AI is transferred to a new one
@@nirwanarief379 I could see Aerial being nearly destroyed and upgraded or even have its A.I. swap to an improved frame. Personally I'd prefer the Barbatos 'rebuilt/add on to the frame over time' method.
I am actually even inclined to the idea that Aerial's AI is actually Lifrith's in the first place. Or even, that Aerial actually is a remodelled Lfrith.

Back here after the ending of the whole story of Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury, and I am feeling sad and happy at the same time... Thank you very much Sotsu Sunrise for a great story!
I don't get why a lot of people hate this series. I mean the first season was just an introduction of what is behind the curtain and the ending of season 1 really set the tone for WFM. It's not just a school romance-comedy-mecha anime, everyone must remember that this is still a GUNDAM series, meaning there will be dark themes and of course, war crimes.
It's just people being homophbic, really
Oh and those fans who think Gundam is only about war, angst and death

Certain theories that are floating around makes some of these frames gives me severe goosebumps. Those being are eri sitting on top of Aerial, Sulletta standing in the same place and the reflection of Eri at the end.
Along with that, if youll note every single time Sulletta is shown in this opening the first frame of her not in it immediately afterwards is with Miorine. EXCEPT when its young Eri on Lifrith.

LOVE the music, LOVE the suits, LOVE the story!!!! (So far) I'm really enjoying the comedy, slice of life, get still mecha drama that is G-Witch. Yaosobi just makes it THAT much better. I hope this series becomes a hit and revives Gundam/Gunpla 😭

Saki loved her son but she valued her feelings over his and became a monster. Even Char wasn't all bad, he was an Anti Hero to a T in thr first season. He wanted revenge on thr Zion and he got his revenge.

I think this gundam series caters the young audience. As for me, for a 30 year old plus guy, I like the gundam uc canon timeline story especially Hathaway.
This song was teasing that Eri and Suletta are two different people all along. The fact that they are shown side by side felt so wrong when I first watched the MV, but when the story progressed it now made sense
