@@CurlyHairedRogue I think focus and attention is the struggle of many these days with the rise of technology and all that. But I think it is possible to cultivate focus! For me I find arbitrary limit helps. If I were to consider all the tools I have and all the knowledge I know whenever I try to build something, that would just stun me, I think. But starting with a small pool of things like ideas, words, pictures, feelings, thoughts, sounds help me. I just wanted to share what have helped me overcome many creative blocks over the years. I hope you find what works for you and I hope you well! Take care!
As an artist-specifically an illustrator-who has somewhat given up and feels disheartened about drawing due to certain events, this song perfectly encapsulates my feelings through both its lyrics and visuals. As someone else mentioned, I feel seen. Thank you for this piece of art!

There were times where I get super critical towards myself to the point of paralyze and can't do anything. But as I learn how to treat myself properly, even seeing myself as a kid who doesn't know anything just so I don't judge myself or even being ashamed for not knowing something. I think patient is an important thing to have in life, and I think we should treat everything and everyone with patient, understanding and kindness. What is the better place to practice this than with yourself? Right?... The feeling of not being good enough, the feeling of constant dread in my mind, the feeling of not deserving to be happy combined with the wanting to feel love and be good enough and the willingness and want to change.
