Of all the things I clicked flag on? I have been practicing sign language since I was in 3rd grade. Im 41 now. Thank you Jackie for sharing your story. You look like you speak perfect , I see no lisp and at first I thought you were hearing. It's wonderful to know others that are deaf, speak, sign , hoh or whatever can still be members of the Deaf community. At times I wish I could just leave the hearing world behind but I can't and don't want to. When I see the strong family ties within an all Deaf family I am amazed at the closeness and unity they have. I am late deaf, life is hard.
