very cool guy! I went to India with my girlfriend for 4 months one year ago! Best time of our lives! So many great people, so generous and friendly and the food is amazing if you like spicy food! And in the non-tourist regions everything is so goddamn cheap, food, hotels, transportation. We traveled over 8k km via train and bus and paid in total sth like 150 Dollars each. If you have the chance to go there for some time, just do it! It is great! Don't spend so much time in the typical tourist places like mumbai, varanasi, delhi, goa, agra etc but visit some villages as well and some less famous sights! Darjeeling and everything in Kerala were my favourites! Lovely country with lovely people!

I am actually super happy that Vir Das is getting more international exposure. He has been coming in Indian movies for a few years now, and has been doing stand-up and live music for a long time. I first saw him live in Mumbai in 2011, Vir Das The History of India. And it was hilarious. He deserves more success and international recognition.
