Here's a theory: Perhaps after the first Bassline fell, it landed back on the track and one of the other drivers in the cliffside realm was kind enough to tow out Bassline so Shirako could repair it.
With all the sick stunts he pulls you really wonder why Tesla didn't just equip ALL the cars with jump-jets. I mean fancy tricks aside, it's just a good safety feature for if you fall off a track.
@@artistanthony1007 Yeah, the Teku basically took Wave Rippers and Street Breed technology, while the Metal Maniacs took Scorchers technology (and everyone got Dune Ratz technology with the wheels). Somewhat disappointing that the Metal Maniacs didn't use the turbo jets, since Wylde was also a member of the Wave Rippers. I guess we can assume he lost his old car in the whole legal ordeal. Also a bummer that nobody used the drone technology that Slingshot had on it

This is a common mis-conception tho. Shirako's bassline is right-hand drive because bassline is based on modern australian UTE's which only CAME in RIGHT hand drive. there is no left hand drive ute produced from the factory as far as i know. Only the older el-camino's and ranchero's, even then, bassline surely isn't based on any of them, unless you count the chevrolet SSR a ute.

My theory is that since the cars in the series are made to race, that Bassline was never a pickup, but was a coupe converted into a show truck, like how people made pickup trucks out of Tesla, BMW M3, etc. The only reason I believe this, is because of the very flat roofline, the very unconventional bed that seems to make a V shape at the end, and those fenders being that wide, but with no step like there would be with flares that wide on a standard vehicle.

I love how Shirako seems to be really chill with monkey. As far as I can tell, monkey is the only metal maniac / one of the few drivers that shirako goes out of his way to talk to. Probably because monkey is the Metal Maniac Mechanic, and Shirako has THE most tricked out teku car so he probably has an appreciation for monkey’s skills working on the maniac cars. Just a theory.

@Tito Dwi Laksono Acceleracers' design is more inspired. The Drones especially are super creative. They're like pseudo-transformers. World Race had safer, but overall, better looking and well proportioned designs.
I just realized now that Kurt was one of the best racing drivers in the world, wining championships and all, accordingly to world race, and in acceleracers he ends up being in a street racing gang.
Dude was literally an F1 driver, got humbled by a 16 year old with skateboard tricks, and turned to street racing instead lol, I'm not even gonna get into the drug dealing part

@@checkitimawesome you really need to rewatch the entire cliffside realm. the drones were already ahead by miles. the sweeper was at the END of the realm and was driving the track backwards to get the drivers. i highly doubt gelorum sent the sweeper into the realm first, and it was drone cars sent ahead of the sweeper that won the race, not the drones that we see with the drivers. because drones have always been consistent to be sent into realms in groups of 5 lead by a rd-l1. that only means that we have 3 drone cars completely unaccounted for that we dont see at all, which does include rd-l1 who would drive either rd-05 or rd-08.

@@Gogeta_pl4yz they probably got an extremely good mix of japanese tuners and australian utes for bassline design, that's why you can't even point out a similar real life car, because it's absurdly mixed (while for other cars you can to an extent) - you're essentially looking for a lookalike of an ute/truck with space for 6-8 subwoofers which at the same time is a compact JDM drift tuner... that doesn't make any literal sense whatsoever when you say it out loud because they're not even meant to be in the same sentence, but the acceleracers design team absolutely pulled it off and that's what makes it so special (the animation design was so well pulled off not even a single one of the toy replicas you can find managed to replicate bassline sizes right, it always ends up looking too out of "shape").
Literally ONLY when there is a pixel of Bassline in the screen, even if it's in that one scene but it gets covered by another vehicle or a realm's vegetation it cuts to when Bassline is visible again, haha

Shirako's bassline is based on modern australian ute's which only came in right-hand drive. NO production modern UTE made it out of australia, unless you count the chevrolet SSR a ute, and australian vehicles are RIGHT hand drive by standard.
it makes more sense to believe that bassline is RHD because he is japanese and so is his late voice actor (rip). and also because the teku is a faction literally based around japanese tuner culture. saying its a misconception is false because it was never confirmed anywhere its specifically based on an austrailian ute. so let the japanese man with the japanese VA on the japanese themed racing team have a truck with RHD to fit his japanese aesthetic.
