At the time of recording, Liverpool sat at 10 points out of 12 to begin the season, compared to 5 points last season. Whilst it is still early days to determine whether this form can be continued, it cannot be denied that in these opening games, the midfield looks like they’ve been playing together for years despite only playing together for 1-2 months.

Crazy to think that Chelsea spent over 1.2 billon over 2 seasons and nothing to show for it while liverpool spent about 200 million and have one of the most exciting upcoming midfielders in the world
Exactly, its the difference between having a transfer strategy and buying players for no reason

Gravenberch totally suprised me, he is not the player I was expecting at all. I think I was lead to believe he was some kind of holding midfielder but it's obvious he's a box to box very attacking minded player. He has impressed me so much and I think the best is yet to come from him.
Szoboszlai is just brilliant. What a player.
Endo was a shrewd signing. Top player.

I am surprised by the fact that endo never gets the opportunity to play I mean we all can see macca would love to go forward and even gravenverch could also be at cdm role so i feel they should play macca and soboz... with endo

It took Robertson 6 months and a Moreno injury to get his run, but look how that turned out. Maybe he is just ironing out some nuance in the system. We will play loads of matches and Endo will be a big part of it all I’m sure

it's a great opportunity to get that one last trophy that got away. Yes, I'd trade it for another Champions League title, but another "UEFA Cup" will still bring back memories.
It is not a shame at all. We are just further cementing the fact that we are an elite side that's too big for the Europa league. Unlike some teams who were supposed to be too elite for this competition, they still struggled.

i do still worry about that dm position, the 8 position is perfect and we won’t have to sign any 8’s for like 4/5 years now especially with the youth but in dm we only have endo and bajcetic who naturally play there then mac allister who’s out of position. If we had rice or rodri i think we’d 100% win the league but we don’t, defensively we need that cover and mac isn’t good enough as a 6. I pray we get andre in january or when bajcetic is fit we give him a run of games
I think that will definitely be the next area Liverpool target. Endo I think will be great, but they will need someone long term

Back in 2015/16 we struggle to score in Europe against Bordeaux, Sion, Rubin Kazan and Augsberg in UEFA Cup ..... in 2023/24 we are fielding academy players in UEFA Cup group stage and after 3 games, we are top of the group.
Who ever we sign in January, will do gud .... and the future looks gud too.

Among the midfielders of LFC, the most expensive is #10 Allister, one the contrary, the most useless is him. 15+ of matches in LFC, nil goal, rare assistance and attack, nil defend as too slow. As a #10, it is a shame, his performance cannot compare with Endo, Sobo nor the past #10 Mane.

Macca is a makeshift DM. At Brighton, he was an AMF so he's thrived in his new position. After January, we will enjoy him.

Absolutely stellar midfield rebuild by Liverpool. And they got Mac Allister, Szoboszlai, Endo and Gravenberch for £28m less than Chelsea paid for Caicedo and Lavia!
I don't even think Liverpool seriously wanted Caicedo, they just bluffed Chelsea into making a stupid offer and paying over the odds.
