This video is a tribute to Alexander Ovechkin of the Washington Capitals. It shows the greatest moments of his career and all his amazing goals. Even those of his incredible rookie season...
It's a decade now, since Alex joined the National Hockey League. Today, it's hard to imagine the league without him. He's the player with the most goals and points over the last 10 years. (460 goals, 875 points/scored 142 goals more than second placed Jarome Iginla)
With scoring at least 30 goals in each of his first ten seasons, he recently joined the elite group of Gretzky, Gartner, Bossy and Kurri, which are the only ones to done that before.
But Ovi will not only be remembered because of his "on the ice" achievements, but also for his own style. For his cool, russian and sometimes lazy way to handle things.
He reached yet a lot of his goals. Unfortunately, the biggest one is not one of them. To WIN the STANLEY CUP, is still on Ovi's "to do" list.
And we hope that he can change that as quickly as possible...

I know he's only 30, but people should appreciate guys like him. He's like Messi in soccer/football, A once in a generation type player. I really hope he wins the cup. I think with the additions of Oshie and Williams, we have a solid chance of doing it this year. Orlov is coming back so he'll take Green's spot. Williams is an upgrade from Ward, and Oshie is an upgrade from both Brouwer/Fehr. Sucks Fehr went to Pittsburgh though. Great video man! Can't wait for the season!

Yes, you're absolutely right. But with the music I worked with, I don't saw a way to including them.
I really wanted to focus on his goals, especially in his rookie ones.
A little bit of his flair from prior to 2010 is gone but as an all around player he is at his very peak and should be this way before a gradual decline in 3-4 years. I hope he wins it all this year. He has a genuine shot at being the first 900 goal scorer in the NHL.
Hes better now then he ever was, complete player. I don't see him declining at all till retirement, kind of like Jagr, big guys last long in hockey and Ovi is probably the toughest guy endurance wise on the ice.

Ovi with his 6th 50-goal season, is now only behind Wayne Gretzky(9) & Mike Bossy (9) and is tied with Greats like Marcel Dionne(6), Guy LaFleur(6) & Mario Lemieux (6).. Alexander Ovechkin is easily the best goal scorer of his generation. At only 29 years old has many more seasons to come. The man is more than capable of reaching 9, maybe shattering records and reaching 10. Cheers to the best goal scorer of this generation!
the best part about ovi is he will never get injured and if he is he still plays like a hockey player should

Finally, an edit that isn't full of his one timers. I love how this video shows his skill and willingness to do whatever it takes for goals, not just his ability to score with a one timer. Great job and as a past comment suggested,would love to see a Datsyuk video
