I've become a huge fan of both Charles Coleman and Lisa Rubin over the last 6 months or so. Not to ignore the incredible talent of Alex Wagner, Chris Hayes or the rest of the lineup--but I hope that Charles and Lisa continue to get treated seriously as contributors and anchors over the next few years.

If you’ve seen any of Cohen’s videos or listened to his podcast you know very well that his testimony today was borderline boring. When he gets wound up you know it. He was measured and calm today. He made Blanche look like a first year even without Justice Merchan having to tell Blanche that the witness is allowed to be biased against him.

Yeah, looks like they make something up just to fill the time. On RUclips there’s many independent media commentators and lawyers that are way clearer and more to the point. Glenn Kirschner for instance, I think he is an MSNBC contributor but he also has his own RUclips channel where he posts daily. Less fluff, more clarity.

what strikes me is that the defense instructed the jury in the beginning that they can not judge a person (their client) by how their feelings for that person are. On the other hand, their entire defense is based on trying to make the judges form a bad opinion of Cohen so they'd dismiss the evidence because he said it.
TODD BLANCHE has totally ruined his reputation defending TFG. I thought he was supposed to be a good attorney but I can't see it, myself. I'm not impressed. I hope he got his fee up front otherwise, chances are, he'll get stiffed like many other people who have never got paid by DJT.

Here is the deal. Blanche is a former PROSECUTOR. Prosecutors are experienced in direct examination. Defense attorneys are experienced in cross examination. That is just the nature of criminal law. Blanche’s cross examination today was feeble at best. I doubt if it will improve much tomorrow. We will see.
