There is NO potential all-Italian Final in the last season of the Champions League. Milan faced Napoli in the quarterfinal based on the knockout bracket. They eventually played against Inter Milan in the derby, who knocked them out. Juventus and Roma were so close to make an all-Italian Final in the Europa League that same season, losing to Sevilla.

Totally embarrassing to see 3 Serie A clubs didn't progress to the quarterfinal of UCL, while 3 Serie A clubs in Europa League + Fiorentina in Conference League did so.
Of course, with the UCL Final taking place at Wembley, that means no repeat of good run for Serie A clubs just like their national team in Euro 2020. That's really shame for Inter Milan. They won the Treble at Bernabeu in 2010, the same stadium when Italy won the 1982 World Cup.
As an Atleti fan, I can say that going into that game we had our whole season on the line. I loved how we responded quickly after that inter goal and gave everything to try to win it in regular time. I was hoping depay was going to come in sooner but Im glad he added his dribbling ability which Morata was lacking. I think all 8 teams are strong, im looking forward to the draw. Im hoping for us to get Real of course :)

We at Barca were in a similar position, Our season is done for all intents and purposes and UCL is the only thing that can bring a tiniest bit of joy for us as long as we aren't knocked out

As a Porto fan, firstly congrats to Arsenal and good luck in the quarters!
But regarding Porto, I’m so proud to be a Porto fan, name me one team that has the resources we have and is consistently able to perform the way we do. In the past years we’ve played Chelsea (champions), Inter (finalists) and Arsenal (top of the prem) and had a higher XG in all of those ties (I know XG doesn’t count for much but it’s just to paint the picture that we competed). Even in Portugal, Benfica and Sporting are much richer than we are, yet we still are able to win trophies. The only thing is I can’t help but feel like we’re always almost there, almost knocking out a huge team, yet we rarely do it (except Juve). I hope our win is on the way🔵⚪️🐉

14:40 if you look at a close up of lautaros penalty you can actually see the ball move a little bit because of his standing leg shifting the artificial pitch underneath him. Thats why he looks back at the penalty spot so confused.
While he still did mishit that shot by a lot its important to say that on this level even the smallest movements can change the trajectory of the ball a lot

Again, Inter should gave scored at least three. The only reason why Atleti are through is because Inter couldn't convert their chances both in the 1st leg and 2nd leg. When you don't score, you concede.

Inter played awful, is on everybody including Inzaghi. I have praised Inzaghi because he deserves praise but this one is big on him, he said in the pre match that Inter wouldnt speculate with the result and he did exactly that, honestly playing like we did in San Siro would have give us the edge, not the certainty of a win, but the edge we got in the previous game (i actually mentioned in your previous UCL video that we just have a little edge over Atlético, just a small one).
Bad on Inzaghi, bad on the players, Dzeko was dearly missed, not only Atlético was better, Inter played by far its most awful game and now Inzaghi's work is on the spotlight because people will diminish again Inter form in Serie A and in the previous UCL. Unfortunately it is on him, awful decision making, we shouldnt have stop playing like we have been doing. Hopefully Inzaghi learns from this.

I think Inter Milan was tactically great against Atheletico, it’s the poor finishing that betrayed them. And of course the penalty shootout, it’s a lottery. It is what it is.

The poor finishing didnt help and nobody played up to par for sure but i think the setup was a mistake. It was an awful night all around no matter how i see it.
Bad take I think, inzaghi has already worked his magic and this inter team need very little to do to win every game. If they play even 30-40% of inzaghis tactics they blow teams away, this was more on Marotta and inters team building. The Havertz foul was clearly on Pepe not on the GK, in my opinion, as Havertz was pulling his shirt. No malicious intent on the GK, but clearly an intent on gaining an advantage over Pepe :)

One thing no one can doubt, this arsenal team is amongst the best in the world right now. If we don’t win the UCL…so be it. If we don’t win the prem…so be it. I’m just glad to be watching my team back challenging in competitions. For too long we have taken abuse from other fans, but now they realise and pray for our downfall, so much wishful thinking from rival fans. It's easier to Transition when you're at the Top, keeping improving and extending the gap between you and the competition... that's how Juve became the undisputed Rulers of Serie A for years.
Atletico were not just lucky but it was destined for them to go through. Inter two clear 1 vs 1 chances not half chances but clear chances that a goal kills the tie and missed. Even if Inter had 3-4 more of those chances they would've missed and lose the tie. Inter conceded a goal after crazy missed clearance followed by a rebound from another defender for Griezmann to score when Morata was kept onside by the defender's half boot. At this point if Atletico Madrid areto reach the final I think they win the CL 100% because sometime you just got destiny on your side even the team is among the weakest and might not even qualify for the next CL so winning it might be the only route Lol.
Having watched that PSV-Dortmund match, can't say I was very entertained. It was quite bland.
In almost all the close matches, the team who played at home in the 2nd leg won. This is the luck of the draw.

That home game was played at neutral venue because of lockdown (I think). What's even funnier is that their last defeat at Metropolitano in UCL was a 0-1 loss against Inter Milan's city rivals AC Milan.

Atletico didn't eliminate Inter, Inter chose to not go through. They generated so many lethal chances yet they couldn't take advantage of them, and the two goals they conceded were essentially a gift to Atleti. At the pens, they had a negative mentality. Atletico were definitely more prepared. Inter are punished for their two draws against Real Sociedad, for their missed chances at the first and the second leg and for their soft defence yesterday. It seemed to me that they didn't want to go through. Shame, as I thought they could go all in for the trophy. Kudos to Atletico for their athleticism, determination and sheer passion they showed yesterday. Inzaghi just lost it and Simeone silenced his doubters yet again.

As an inter fan I agree, Barella bastoni, Di Marco were not fit and fighting off minor injuries. With Augusto and Arno out we didn't have much quality options on the bench. None the less, no excuses. We were not good enough and we let athletico back into the game when we conceded that very non chalant 1st goal. We needed to be better, more clinical and way more organized at the back. It wasn't our day at all and altheti deserved to go through at the end.
