      I liked about how you don't need to over analyze running into a cooler situation.
      I did have one question for strategy which I don't think I have ever seen you try: making a small bet out of position on the river to try and induce a raise. pros and cons?

      Wolfgang's coach ran the numbers with him and showed that betting big is always better than betting small, even if they under call a big bet and over call a small bet.
      The other thing he mentioned was in that situation if you had a bluff you'd probably bet big and not small. So if you wanna stay unpredictable you have to use the same sizes for your bluffs and value hands.

    Excellent tips as always. I like the final one on KQ as I tend to just call in early position and get pushed off the hand when their is a raise behind. Would love to see a video on playing premium hands out of position when you either (a) miss the flop, (b) there is an overcard behind e.g. raise with AK get called and the board comes Q, 7, 2 rainbow; or riase with JJ get called and the flop comes K,10,9

    So much advice in this Video - how to Bet in certain Spots (K5 Hand) / to avoid pushing the Oppo's dominated Hands Out (K8 just Check in the BB) / being aware of the Positions (3-Bet A2 from BB) + (isolate w/ KQoff in EP/MP).
    Love to See more!!

    I think its good to have a play where you think about what you doing in general and where you dont have weaknesses, to feel good in spot where you are what you doing in long run, when you start feeling akward in hand, than you not doing right things

    What is the logical reason behind the check back at 9:10? Personally I would bet to try to get some extra value when you almost certainly know he doesn't have a flush or a set the way he played his hand.

    Isn't 9:08 is a slam dunk value bet? Would be surprised if he snap checks twice and has a Q or flush. I'm putting a little 1/4 pot milker out there.

    • @LexVeldhuisTV
      @LexVeldhuisTV  Год назад +1

      25% bets in position are a massive mistake. The gain from it is not worth opening up the betting action with again. Also we're never betting that size with our true value. River is 50% minimum bet. I think our opponent will check 3x with some hands like KQo QJ QT and have the occasional flush. Becuase the river is a diamond other hands (like 88) will be less happy to pay off also

    Hi Lex! Enjoy all of your content: Quick question to the Hand at 9:00 at the river.
    Yes the frontflush completed - but when villain checks - can't we just valuebet thin with JJ on that board? I mainly play mostly cashgame - and i would valuebet the JJ on the river still - so what is your thoughts on checking behind OTR?

    • @LexVeldhuisTV
      @LexVeldhuisTV  Год назад +1

      I do think it's important diamonds complete. I think some shitty queens will check 3x now
