Your dad is very honest and transparent. I like his attitude, you got an awesome dad.
The dad is a typical East African Dad...Very soft spoken, kind and polite...Bigup KENYA
Not Every Ghanaian eat heavy meal in the morning though, Majority of them eats light weight foods like porridge, rice water, Tea, tom brown etc.
True 🥀🥀
I really love seeing her father because I find him to be the typical African father when they grow older and usually wear serious clothes lol. But not only that, her dad seems very polite and kindhearted...just my opinion ✌️
The game is called Ludo.
I was thinking it looks like a version of Ludo
Ms. Trudy, just a small point of correction;
certain Ghanaians 🇬🇭 choose to eat Waakye (solid afternoon food) in the mornings purposely to keep their stomachs full to save them from getting hungry while (after couple of hours) mostly going to schools early in the mornings.
Other traders & mechanics/entrepreneurs, also eat Waakye to ainly keep spending more money in the mornings & afternoons just to save money they already don't have to spend. That's the major reason why some Ghanaians do that, not all of us..🤷🏾♂️🤷🏻
Crap!!! Waakye is considered breakfast meal, it’s hardly sold in the afternoon or evening
You're right my dear, i was wondering when they say waakye is Ghanaian breakfast. I'm an Fante and we take bread and tea as our breakfast or kokoo and bread, we can also eat Accra kenkey as breakfast or waakye that means you are going do some heavy work that morning, like construction job. Not every Ghanaian eat waakye as breakfast.
@@Ayimwaa
It's not true. Waakye is also sold in the Afternoons and Evenings at so many places in Ghana.
It all depends on where you are living in Ghana.
It has even been observed that, Waakye sold at nights or Evenings are mostly Special and more Expensive than the ones sold in the Mornings which I think may be determined by the forces of Demand and Supply in the city or at that particular location.
Waakye is being enjoyed all day long in Ghana.🇬🇭
So it's not a Ghanaian breakfast 🤔 If not, what is an authentic Ghanaian breakfast?
I am only interested in traditional African 🇯🇲🇯🇲
As a Ghanaian,I take porridge(maize, rice water) , tea, oblayo or ekuegbemi for breakfast. Waakye isn't Ghanaian breakfast, however some people are taking that to keep them for longer hours. @@RVin-and-Travelin
Mrs. Wode Maya. Your dad's wishes to have a Ghanaian daughter-in-law will surely happen, all your elderly Ghanaian mothers and fathers are praying for this as we did before you got marry to our nephew. God Bless Your Beautiful family. 🎉

I visited Kingston Jamaica for the first time back in 1993. I was awaken for breakfast and was greeted with what I thought was Sunday dinner, great food and hospitality 💯 Before I left the guest room in Jamaica I emptied my pockets for the great hospitality and food alone💯
Thanks for visting my country
Chilly can be optional. U can choose only stew on your waakye. My mom doesn’t eat peppers but she’s a Ghanaian living in Ghana.
Well said daddy, more grace and good health. 🇳🇬
Amen

Trudy your dad is very sharp and knowledgeable glad to see him looking good sending you lots of love from Jamaica 🇯🇲
Dad is so right about we the Ugandans. OMG, is all that Wakye Guy Guy chakula just for breakfast or brunch? It is a whole days meal kabisa! Nice vlog. Keep 'em coming.
Daddy has love for Uganda 🇺🇬 😅😅, This kind of break fast will make me sleepy the whole day.
I agree... Ugandan gals the best
the Sun always rises from the East and sets in the West no matter where you are on this Earth
Whatever direction the sun seems to be rising from is always EAST and whatever direction the sun seems to set is WEST regardless of geographical location, that's the way the earth rotates around the sun.😂😂😂
Didn’t look like they enjoyed the Waakye 😂 and to me that’s an absolute shocker but I guess it’s a pretty new experience for them so I guess I can understand
The chilli/pepper is the problem , because most Kenyan dishes apart from coastal ones, are bland
Ms Trudy I admire the love you have for your dad and how you take care of your dad.
Daddy may have been good at geography at school , his knowledge about it is on point. 😊❤
I can't stop laughing, Dad its so true we are so obsessed with pepper.
Trudy, I will also get your dad that way, am here in Uganda ❤❤❤
I'm an older woman that lives in the U.S. and i LOVE the way your dad speaks. He is sure before he speaks and has a lovely accent. ❤🎉
You have a wonderful Dad. God keep blessing him
Thank u Dad, for puting Ugandan women on the the map and I am agenda woman watching from Italy,
Miss Trudy I would like to correct you here regarding breakfast in Ghana. Ghanaians also enjoy tea, nest coffee, Milo, omelet, and other local breakfast such kooko etc. Some people also choose to eat heavy in the mid morning to cover for both breakfast and lunch. So to correct you Ghanaians also eat breakfast like Kayans because of the route of British colonization. Thanks
Thanks for the info!
May God continue blessings you Trudy for being a blessing to your Dad.
Well done Trudy it's good to make memories. All the best with your family.
Thank you so much!
In Ghana, the sun 🌞 rises from east and set in the west. The same in east Africa and everywhere
This is beautiful. Please be giving dad some apples, pear and the berrys. It's helps to heal the kidneys
Totally
Why they kill the food with pepper?
If you accustom to small breakfast, you cannot eat all of that food. That is what we call brunch in the morning...a cross between breakfast and lunch.
After that we have dinner around 6.00pm.
MS TRUDY ALL OVER THE WORLD THE SUN RISE FROM THE EAST 😂❤WHO AGREES ? GET THE DIRECTION CORRECT OK ❤❤❤❤
You are right but the perception can mislead, when I went to Côte d’Ivoire from Congo I taught same as Trudy
The sun is always from the east, miss trudy... If you have a compass, you will confirm that. Sometimes, within some places in Ghana, you might even think the sun is from the west, south, or even north 😅
Even I have learned Akwaba ( welcome ) and Medasi paa ( Thank y9u so much 😊
A Great family it's.I know your father is really proud of you Trudy❤.
Keep him smiling ever .😊
Team Trudy kindly nipitieni we grow together too.
I dream of visiting Ghana one day .I believe your support will make my dream come true soon.❤

There is one video am waiting for, aunt Maggie and our dad Bonding time simple
I’m 💯 percent Ghanaian and Miss Trudy, not all of us like eating heavy breakfast in the morning. I personally and my children don’t like heavy breakfast like some people do. I and my family will eat Waakye for lunch or dinner and not in the morning. 😊😅
Trudy waru is kikuyu for potatoes 🥔 .In kiswahili, they are called viazi.Your Dad is very lovely and knowledgeable ❤.
Ups! My bad! 😄
Trudy is truly living the PAN African Dream ‼️‼️‼️‼️😊
This Oldman is such a gentleman. God bless your union. International family
We also have a heavy breakfast in the mornings as well....we are thought to eat like a king in the mornings ,like a queen at lunchtime and at dinner time you should eat a beggar .....love the family time with your dad and brother it is lovely to watch ❤❤❤🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲

Let him take a trip and put in the work. He sure will find a good one.
@kaybee3757 lol, that plan is in the works!!
Hello Trudy l love your beautiful family so much. I am a Ghanian my self and speaks the same language as your husband. Please when you take your family out to a restaurant let them know your family don’t eat too much pepper. I think they can do some adjustments to that.
Happy mothers day to you my dear. We await beautiful babies my dear looking handsome n beautiful like u all. Beautiful family. God bless u always as you entertain your sweet family.
Miss Trudy, you could always ask for less pepper in the food.
Also, some people have light food in the mornings. Like tea abread, koko and etc. God bless your work.
Trudy ,am Kenyan and do matoke with ground nut sauce for breakfast ,sometimes ngwaci or kidney beans with rice . This kind of meal is more healthier .Am 60 years n most people think am 47 years .What a good treat for your family .God bless you .
Awwww I can listen to your dad talk all day. He is so gentle and soft spoken, yet very knowledgeable and always gives good advices. I especially love the end when he says that Ghanaian and Ugandan women are very respectful😊.
Not all Ghanaians eat waakye for breakfast. We are a diverse community with diverse taste: some eat tea and bread, others kose and buffrot, fufu, Kenkey or whatever else they want. If there is anything correct- yes we eat a lot of chilli and put chilli in all our foods
@soapgist,
Thank you for saying that. It's depend on the individual person like I can't eat heavy food early morning. Your very right not every Ghanaian eat heavy food in the morning.
Happy always to see you and your father together, and now your brother also on camera. Have a wonderful holiday in Ghana.
Actually, some people take tea and other light food like koko but majority takes heavy food like waakye, Kenkey, gob3 thus beans
Hi Ms. Trudy!! Awesome vlog. That is sharp very very nice. Please keep coming out with more vlogs!!
Amazing family you are,,, happy to see you all,, always making your dad proud,, long live dad❤❤❤
I like how you interact with your dad. It's so heartwarming. And he cracks me up when interpreting those Ghanaian food and their other words😂😅😅
The chilly will make your blood circulate well, so that you can perform your activities in all aspects.
Me da wo ase paa in Ghana. Asante Sana in Swahili speaking countries. I first learned this in 2013 when l was in holiday in Kampala
Oh wow! I love when foreigners speak our language! 😀
Great to hear you learned some Swahili in Kampala 🇺🇬😅 Because it is not a common language here, but we're doing our best to catch up with Kenya 🇰🇪and Tanzania 🇹🇿 ✌🏽💜
in Ghana we also Drink Tea or Hausa Koko for Breakfast.
Woah, that’s a lot of food for just one person! Welcome to West Africa daddy. Love this😘❤️🔥🔥🔥❤️🔥🔥❤️
The games is called Ludo. U use 2 dice. And u can only come out if u get a 6 on the dice. U go clockwise around the board. When u have gone all round the board. The u goes to your home. Which is in the middle. Which was highlighted in the colour as your pieces. The one who get all four pieces home wins. But the other players can land on you. And then u have to start again.🇯🇲❤
Your brother is definitely your twin .
Watching from Namibia.
God bless you our father inlaw ❤
Amen
It's Ludo game,I love this game like crazy😅
Thank you 😊
Amazing Vlog Hun💞,I truly enjoyed watching 😊. Be Blessed 🙏
Trudy, waru is bantu, kikuyu to be precise, viazi is swahili. But really liking this . Hope one day to visit Ghana.

Dad made his intentions known, Ghanaian girl😅
Trudy when you go out to eat with your dad tell staff to put any chilli sauce on a side plate not on the food so your dad can add it if he wants..so he enjoy the food better 😊
