Born July 1972. Still remember riding my bike to Walmart and buying Van Halen diver down on album... Held the album in one hand and rode home with the other. Got home sat and stared at the back cover and memorized every word while listening to every song!!!
'80s were special. people love the '80s; they may favor any given decade, but a poll would show people "love" the '80s. they want to hug that decade. it was one big cartoon.
I was born in 1978 , so I got to grow up in the 80's and I loved everything about that decade including movies and especially the music. I loved every genre from the 80's pop, New Wave, Heavy Metal, Hard Rock, and even the Rap music. I remember Mark on MTV as a video DJ and MTV when it was only about the music and not these ridiculous teen reality shows that they have been playing for so long now. The saying Video killed the Radio star was very true back when MTV came out. MTV was very awesome for me from 1981 all the way up to 1994. I was very upset when MTV cancelled Headbanger's Ball and it slowly went downhill ever since. Great interview Eric!!!
