I started speed balling (shooting up heroin with coke) and would drink after every shot to get that rush without having to wait awhile. I didn't think I was an alcoholic until I went one day without a drink and went into withdrawals. At this time, I was kicking 120mg of Methadone from the clinic after 6 years. Only heroin could ease the withdrawals from methadone, so went back to using daily several times a day.
