I have the same problem with my infinity and I also had this on a nighthawk firehawk. With my firehawk, i just tapped the slide stop with a rubber gunsmith hammer to get back into places. Eventually wore down to allow me to push it in. I haven’t disassembled my infinity enough yet to notice if it’s starting to get smoother.

Good morning Mr.Blackson! I almost think the one with the more noticable bevel makes more sense. It seems like a QC issue that they don't want to admit. Regardless of what Brandon said, When you had both next to each other the bevel seems smarter and more user friendly...so why would they put the other in their guns? Things that make you go hmmmmmm. Hey Robert. When they told me it is their new design and not a quality control issue. I didn’t think about asking. I guess I was waiting for them to say they would do it without me asking. I will put that on me and not them. I will reach out back to them again to ask for them to do it.

Atlas thumbrest installed on my Erebus’s and I had a nightmare putting it back in too.
But after a few range trips it’s now fitting perfectly
Hey Luke. I put about 300 rounds through it so far but I will give it about 500 more rounds before I decide. It’s a collector item for me so I am in no rush. Thanks for the advice.

Literally 2 swipes with a small file and it'd be perfect. Can't mess it up really, you'll mess up more by trying to ghetto force it in and scratch the slide to hell with the slide stop. Famous idiot scratch is going to happen
I won’t be forcing it in anymore. That was just me demonstrating how difficult it is. I will use the little tool to depress the detent pin in. Trust me, I’m not messing up my Infinity.
