Maybe they shouldn't be jumping in front of cars as a means of directing traffic. Too many times I've had to slam on my brakes when these guys just side step into traffic to stop cars so one car could exit the loading area. No visible damage to the car. Probably a soccer fan and wanted to go home.
Was coming to say that. While it's absolutely awful that he got hit however I've seen it many times where they get in front of peoples cars and purposely cause a fight instead of allowing the person to the two extra minutes for the person that's right outside that they're picking up, they would rather bang on the hood of the car or insight arguments. I have seen it so many times with these traffic officers are extremely aggressive or purposely jump in front of a moving vehicle.
I hope the officer is ok….just assuming here, but the driver was probably looking at his phone and not paying close attention. Either way, I do hope the officer is ok.
