I am a landscaper and have been for 16 years. I cover all aspects of landscaping and often build retaining walls with sleepers but I have never put them in like that. Great job guys well done 👍🏻

Your work is absolutely amazing. Thanks for filming it! But please sort the sound out! Places I can barely hear because of background noise, or wind. If I turn the volume up, I turn the noise up as well. Then next it’s so quiet I can barely hear.

Great looking job, I am thinking about doing a similar job with the french drain into the man hole. is that a direct pipe in or is there some sort of trap. I am a little concerned about the smell from the sewer. advice would be great thanks

@ 11-00, Eric seems to be raking level a barrow load of builders sand but this not the correct base for turf/grass to thrive.
Shouldn't it be a mix of peat / top-soil / horticultural silver sand?
It works perfectly well, so why change it ?
Not a bad job, don't like the idea of using grit on wet lawns dries it out enough so you can move it to prep it, but don't hold the moisture during the summer so brown lawns, few to long straight joints it the paved area , but apart from that it looks o.k 🤪
also what kind of soil did you have to wet lay on sand screed? i always thought wet laid flagstone needed a concrete bed

10:00 what is that hole in the ground? is it a sump or catch basin?
It's an inspection chamber. If you don't know what an inspection chamber is, it's basically a manhole sited at a junction or bend in a drain to allow clearance of blockages.
What size are the sleepers?
2.4 mts long x 300 mm. wide x 100 mm. deep. Other sizes are available. Glad to help.
