As always Keston, extremely interesting, Vincent is one of those comic guys that you could listen to all day he has a great knowledge of the hobby.

Never met him in person but I really like Vincent. Any time I have messaged him about anything at all he has responded, and you can only imagine how busy he is. A man on top of his game. And very charismatic. One of the main reasons I buy from ComicConnect as often as I can. (just bought an ASM 59 9.4 from CC last week, cannot wait for it to arrive!)

Hi Rob. I agree. Vincent does go out of his way to help customers. Congrats on the asm59 by the way!

Losing your PC to theft would have been such a blow. Along with comics, my other great interest is the art of bonsai. I maintain a small nursery in my backyard. Before I set up a drip system, I had a friend water my trees when I'd go on vacation. One of the weeks I was gone, it rained so they didn't water the trees. What they didn't know was the shade cloth over my trees blocked the water flow. I lost a 1/3 of my collection. I had worked on some of these trees for many years. I feel like when things like that happen, you have two reactions. You're either done and actively begin taking steps to get out. Or, you double down like Vincent did. Both roads can lead to opportunity.

Shane. What a sad, but powerful story. I've spent some time in Japan and have a sense of the connection that many people develop with their Bonzai trees. Let's chat sometime. It seems like we have much in common. I'd love to hear more about connection to your Bonzai collection. My newest thing -- although I haven't spent much money on them -- is opals from Australa. My goodness are they fascinating gems.

Keston, I just went down a Wikipedia rabbit hole. I can see the appeal. Those opals look like little galaxies. The color is incredible. We're pretty fortunate to live in Utah. It's a bit of a mining mecca. I took the family camping last April to the Dugway Geode Beds. You can literally, dig them up by moving dirt with your shoe. They are everywhere. @@kestonsoldschoolcomicbooks6842
