I need one of these! I love the look of them, but most require cutting/splicing or completely replace the OEM light, which I wasn't too keen on. Seems like a great product!
What if we have a backup camera there? The backup camera bracket plus your brakelight ...will i be able to put the tire back? Are the bolts long enough?
Hey guys, great videos as always. I bought the rugged ridge version of this a little while back, however have not opened or installed it yet. Thus am I able to just purchase that Y Cord from you guys and use it for the Rugged Ridge light I have??
There is a similar product from Rugged Ridge available for the 2018 and up JL Wrangler www.quadratec.com/p/rugged-ridge/3rd-brake-light-led-ring-jeep-wrangler-jl
Install is similar on the JL but not completely the same. There's 7 T20 bolts and the factory 3rd brake light is shaped differently. It caught me off guard when I took off the tire but their instructions they include are good
You could install it, but it will require some cutting and splicing of wires to get it hooked it. The wiring harness only works with the 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK.
Bought my kit and it arrives today! I know its not "DOT approved" as a 3rd brake light replacement but im going to run it that way anyways! I have the Smittybilt SRC Gen2 bumper/ bolt on tire carrier that in order to mount the third brake light it has to be mounted to the RotoPax mount too which eats up most of the rear window. If I go to the car wash will the brake light be damaged ?
are those plugs water proof? they are pretty exposed to the elements now
I own this. Is a cool upgrade. People seem to like it.
I’m installing one on my JL this weekend. I hate the factory light, so in my case it will a replacement light. Sorry DOT.
Does it flash when you lock/unlock the Jeep?
Can't find my fuse to see if it blew..is j22 my 3rd brake light fuse?

that is a good question, can anyone answer this?
Is there one for the 2021 jeep wrangler?
Hey guys, great videos as always. I bought the rugged ridge version of this a little while back, however have not opened or installed it yet. Thus am I able to just purchase that Y Cord from you guys and use it for the Rugged Ridge light I have??
Sorry we don't sell the wiring separately.
Now you just have to hurry and make it for the JL !!
I try going to your website but for some reason it's not letting me purchase this item
Are they going to make this for the 2019 JL wranglers?
There is a similar product from Rugged Ridge available for the 2018 and up JL Wrangler www.quadratec.com/p/rugged-ridge/3rd-brake-light-led-ring-jeep-wrangler-jl
Is it possible to get the Y harness without buying the brake? I've already got one and I don't see the need to buy a second one...
Did you buy it separately I got my light but y harness is missing
@@abdullahkucuk I ended up finding it separately through Quadratec, not sure if they still have it unfortunately
@@thebeardedarcher1322 thank you for quick response 🙏
Does that y connector/plug come with the kit ?
yes it does!
What's the price on it
My light won’t shut off
Same install for JL?

Very nice
Will that fit 1995 jeep yj?

@@Quadratec can I order the (y) harness separately?

Left out the best part. How to add the wire. That was a waste of time watching.
