I highly recommend getting the alarm LCD immobilizer because these do not come with keys this is a big plus nobody can just turn the LCD display on and right off with it. There is plenty of room in the deck of the wolf Warrior X and the pro both mine is the Pro I installed the alarm with no issues whatsoever direct Plug and Play, I also build a 10.5" wide foot bord big difrence.

Hey Buddy... I don't know if you had heard about the "fork" damage accidents with two riders [Austin Quon & Kevin Carmichael] where their front forks snapped while riding at the nut area.
Well I immediately got in contact with the Riders, with Kaabo, and with Vendors who sell that product demanding serious attention.
Meanwhile I went to Austin's house spoke with him and his parents... could not meet with Kevin, stayed in contact with Kaabo and VoroMotors making sure there was accountability where warranted (a lotta investigation behind the scenes to get to the bottom of it) there were several hypothesis and finally Kaabo came up with a MAJOR fix moving from "cast iron" to "forged" which is huge and makes more sense anyways. So ALL Kaabo Wolf Brand Scooters (Warrior, King, X, GT) will all have not only these corrections but have listened to me on several problematic areas and has addressed, corrected and fixed all of them.

10:24 dammit! Those clamps in the folding mechanism did seem like a point-of-failure but I was hoping it would be fixed in this new revision. The fender issue was already on the todo list.
The price point and ability to fit the X Pro in the trunk was it's only weight over the warrior or king. With the dual stems having some play as you demonstrated, then Chang pointing out the squeak that I'm sure is related to the clamps, you might as well upgrade to a warrior or king.
At that point, the X Pro's major Pros turn into the warrior/king's only Cons being price and massive size. This inherent 'stair stepping' you ultimately reach when finding out which scooter to buy really is no joke. The X Pro really seemed like the best cross between performance and durability, all at a price point you can live with. Now you'd just be silly leaving that industry superior folding latch, perfect stability, and increased performance of either warrior or king over price and decreased portability.
    Great review

Those clamps aren't really that bad my friend. They're pretty robust. I was just making the point that they're no KING or Warrior Folding Locking mechanism (that one is the most stable I've seen anywhere in the market)

There are actually NO Electric Scooters made for offroading. No eScooter is equipped to sustain the abuse offroad terrain can bring.
Though there are no eScooters built for offroad use. There are several top choices for those who enjoy using their eScooters to offroad (knowing that it's Life Cycle is greatly diminished) those are:
      1. Mosphera
      2. Kaabo Wolf Warrior
      3. Nanrobot D6+
      4. Dualtron Thunder
      5. Qiewa Q Power
I do not suggest nor recommend any of these eScooters or any eScooter for offroading but these are known eScooters that PEV eScooter Riders choose to enjoy offroading.
NOTE: Any choice you make must have notable Battery capacity, powerful Motors, compatible Controllers, front & rear Disc Brakes, strong hydraulic suspension, very good off road Tubeless tires and a strong forged aluminum stem, handlebar, swing and control arm setup.
Never Ride ANY PEV without full proper Safety Gear, including:
      1. DOT Full Face Helmet
      2. Eye Protection
      3. Padded Gloves
      4. Heavy duty Knee Pads
      5. Heavy duty ElbowPads
      6. Ankle Support Closed
      Toe Leather Boots
      7. Body Armor (optional)
      8. Wrist Guards (optional)
Hope this helps ya decide and understand the risk involved and need to CHANGE and/or upgrade every 2-3 years.

I would buy the Kaabo Wolf X. You get 40mph, bright tail and brake lights with bright front & rear turn signals and flashers. You have the solid dual stem and light weight for easier Portability. I would definitely pick the Wolf Warrior X Buddy.
      Revised News:
The Wolf Warrior X has been experiencing re-occuring issues that tend to start around 4-5mos into usage. There is a bad lighting problem (ie: turn signals, tail/brake light, side bar light) that, after fixed keep re-occuring. The Vsette 10+ would be a better option over the Wolf Warrior X

Off topic, sorry! I had to change the tire on my WWX Pro and cant get the tire and rim to go back on without removing the inside washers(the ones that go on the axel and clip into the frame)? Is there any way to expand the rear frame so that the washers can clear the frame to install the rim correctly? Without the washers the rear motor cable binds on the motor hub and frame. Voro has been no help with this!

The X Pro has really been a bummer to work on with so many repetitive issues.
This is definitely one that wasn't thought through all the way. The only thing I can recommend, is for you to connect with some Kaabo FB Groups (especially the Phillipine Groups, as they've been Modding WW Brand the longest) and ask around. Chances are, they have several people in the Group familiar with this issue enough to be of help

Subbed Dan! I appreciate the content. When do you feel the changes you mentioned are coming? I'm thinking about holding out until they are implemented. I am impressed with several Kaabo models but feel the Baby Wolf X is what I need. IMO the less I have to MOD on my own the better.

    • @SCOOTOPIAbyOhManDan
      @SCOOTOPIAbyOhManDan  3 года назад +2

Hey @Mr Clamp... thanks for the SUB.
They have already made the changes on the Kaabo Wolf X. Of course the Deck isn't going to be changed, it's a feature that a lot of people, not as large as me love about the Kaabo Wolf X. Also the RGB Lighting material will not be something that Kaabo changes. The side lights are really impressive on the "X" and very easy to get from #VOROMOTORS if you have any issues.
As for the suspension, those changes have been addressed and fixed (front and rear). The back light indicator for the Single/Dual switch can not be changed because of a display conflict (to change or fix the switch to have back lighting indication will require a display change, which will result in the controller changing and Kaabo is not willing (I don't blame them here) To make that design change at the risk of loosing the advantages of having the MiniMotors display and controller combo which is one of the best power combos in the industry.
So overall, I am very impressed with the Kaabo Wolf X and the changes that were made, though we updated the OHvation Rating our algorithm still kicked out the same overall score because of how it is set to round up or down (which protects the integrity of the grading system so that eScooters truly earn the very elusive "5" Ohs) the change was just to minute to affect the overall score of the Kaabo Wolf X enough to make it higher than the initial stated "4" Ohs.
I can't wait to hear about your experience on this awesome eScooter. Though to small for me, I love sooooo much about this Mid Range Performance eScooter. It represents the "Wolf" Brand well.

No it is not normal for the horn on any Wolf Brand eScooter to abruptly stop working.
Something is definitely wrong with the horn there.
Where or who did you buy your Electric Scooter from?
If you bought your eScooter from VoroMotors please give Melvin and his Team a call down there and let him know your horn stopped working.
If you bought it somewhere else make sure you reach out to that Vendor and have them help you with this issue.
Each Official Kaabo Wolf Brand Dealer are suppose to stock extra parts and always be available to help their Customers with any issues dealing with their eScooters.
I can vouch for VoroMotors and FluidFreeRide as great Official Kaabo Wolf Brand Dealers and will always go out of their way to take care of THEIR Customers.

Both Brands are great but the Dualtron Brand is far more superior to the Kaabo and most all other Brands.
Though the Kaabo Brand is pretty good, there has been a series of issues springing up with lighting (turn signals, brake lights and side bar) even after people fix them they still malfunction afterwards.
The only thing people can say about the Dualtrin Eagle Pro is that it is a single Steering Pole. But if you add a Steering Damper the Eagle would trump the Kaabo Brand in choice.
I hope this helps you. Stay SAFE and remember when you Ride... always GearUP

      @SCOOTOPIAbyOhManDan  3 года назад +1

Hey @Selene Perez... thanks for the SUB. Stay Tuned, I bought quite a few new Scooters and gotta lotta New stuff coming your way.
The NanRobot is actually a great Scooter. It was my 1st performance Scooter (does 40mph) it is not real stable (because of wobble) without a steering damper. Other than that it is pretty solid. I'm not a big proponent of taking Scooters off road because it diminishes the life cycle of that Scooter (even if they claim it to be an off road Scooter), eScooters are just not built to handle real off road conditions.
Some are better than others at it but for the most part if people are getting 8 to 10 years of use under normal conditions- you can expect to get 3 to 5 years off roading that same Scooter.
Just know, that your Scooter won't last as long and will require considerably higher maintenance cost and attention if you're an off road user.
Most off road Riders are good with the trade off and are prepared to replace their current model with a new model within that time frame anyways.
Stay SAFE my Friend and ALWAYS GearUP!!!

If you cut your bar down be sure to cut even on each side (NOT WHOLE LENGTH ON ONE SIDE) for example, if you are cutting one inch from the bar, take off half an inch from each side. It will severely affect the balance if you don't do equal cuts.

*** CAN YOU PASS THESE SUGGESTIONS ON TO KAABO PLEASE? THANK YOU ***
    To whom this may concern,
Can you please make the thumb throttle the designated throttle on new Wolf orders (from the King to the Mantis Pro +), and make it available for purchase as a plug in accessory to customers who have Wolf scooters already (from the King to the Mantis Pro +)? The finger throttle can lead to accidental pulls of the accelerator which can cause bodily and property damage.
