Those plums look amazing! Keep up the great work you do teaching us about canning, prepping & building up a good pantry. You are very inspiring. Blessings to you and your family 🙏
OMGosh, Jinny! Those are BEE-U-TI-FUL!! AND, they sound delish. I've got to try those...but first, I must find a generous friend with an abundance of plums. :-D Thanks for the recipe. :-D
That is a real friend! Here, I give you 110 pounds ( well only 50 kilos) of fruit and I am going home! A blessing!!! Thanks for the video. God Bless, stay safe
@@HomesteadCorner they are so delicious as a side dish with ham or pork or poultry. Even on a sandwich with turkey. I'm getting hungry now LOL. I love canning and I don't know if it's because of the artist in me or what but I love looking at the jars as much as doing it. They're so beautiful
That looks super good! I bet it would be amazing with some real vanilla ice cream or dressing ( stuffing - instead of cranberry sauce ) around the holidays.
Those look really amazing! I think I’d make them even if they tasted awful just to look at them in their jars! One question: did I space out and miss where you used the oranges? And exciting news, I found an antique oven for on top of my kitchen wood stove on eBay! Now I don’t have to just envy yours!😂😂
Hi, I so hope you will answer this question!!! ***QUESTION:. I have a bunch of plums.. want to can them. But it's gonna be impossible to peel them! Can I can then WITHOUT PEELING❓❓***
Thanks so much for sharing your vlogs. Love plums. I eat them everyday for digestive aids.❤

What if you don't cook the fruit and just add the juice to the fruit in the jar?
Hi, love this recipe /video. Can one can this in half pints? I wouldn't want to open a large jar just for my brother and I. Thanks
Ok ma’am I need to know where I can get a funnel & lid magnet like yours ?!?
Sadly mine are pretty old, and the company has changed them, but still similar.
Canning Funnel: amzn.to/3Bta9yA
Magnetic Lid Lifter: amzn.to/3zLya2E
Those look so good!!!
Looks delicious!
Good job
Beautiful
Yum!!

I juiced the oranges for the syrup.... Awesome on the wood stove oven, those are so handy, I just love it!!
I'm trying this recipe as we speak! Hope it tastes good or i will be holding you financially responsible. :)
What kind of plums are they? I have 3 plum trees
Is it necessary to add sugar? i am asking for diabetic folks
A little sugar preserves the flavor or enhances. I use very little sugar and I use organic raw cane. Don't use processed sugar it's bad for everyone
They look so pretty and delicious
That’s impressive🤚
I’m pooped! 😂😂
@@HomesteadCorner I bet you are girl 💕
Yummy! Does it matter how ripe the plums are?
I like them still pretty firm, I thinks they are easier to handle. 😁
Hi, I so hope you will answer this question!!!
***QUESTION:. I have a bunch of plums.. want to can them. But it's gonna be impossible to peel them! Can I can then WITHOUT PEELING❓❓***
You can, the peels get a bit tough, but they are easy to pull off once canned.
@@HomesteadCorner thank you so much for the instant reply!!!!
What is the self life on these?
I try to eat them up within 2 years, but did have a jar for 3 and it still was fresh as the day I made it. 😁
That looks good, but the sugar, can it be cut down as to much sugar for me.thks
you can cut the sugar right out if you want to, or use an alternative. :)
Looks so delicious!
