Is your lamy pen a fountain pen?.I've always sketched in fine liners,but would like to try fountain pens.Never used one since I was at school,and it was a messy thing.

@@PntrGrl yes the ink is waterproof so you can paint over. I use DeAtramentis Document ink. I have a "converter in my safari pen. It allows me to refill the pen.
