Ok, I just got one of these and I didn't realise when you put it together you can just give it a little rev and push it in, I was being very careful to line up the keyway and the shaft.

Thanks for your great videos. I would like to know if I should be connecting my Foredom EM-1 Micrometer with the sanding belt? If so, what speed would I set the manual dial too? Also, which of the sanding grits should I be using to clean up 26 ga sterling disc that I cut with my saw? It came with 1000, 800, and 350?

Hi Linda. The Belt Sander is for the H.30 handpiece. You can use it with your EM-1 + SR motor. (Not a micromotor) set the dial to about 1/4-1/3 the way from the left. Start with your rougher grit 250 and work your way to the finer grits.
