Hope you don't mind me pointing something out that you might find useful. There's a bump in the outside of the exhaust that's a hole to let out moisture, so they recommend you point that downwards to allow it to pass out of the exhaust rather than sit in there.
@@TheCraftyBlindersvanlife It was something I remembered from my research and I pointed this out to a friend with a system on a Defender who fitted his flat too. I was watching your cabinet build again to refresh things in my mind and this video came up on autoplay. Happy to give something back after all the helpful tips you've given me ahead of my build.
Good video, is the small switch you installed for the heater for the display as can keep you up at night being so bright or just an isolator for battery feed in.
Hi I had to do a bit of digging to find out where I purchased the hose and connectors from as a result I have updates the videos description and added links to where you can find the items 😊 I hope this helps 👍
How are the dB? how loud at night? none are disturbed in there sleep? what about the MOT, no problems? How did it work since you installed it? Greetings.
It is quite because it is located up front all you here is the fan you have to get really close to hear the pump ticking I'm a light sleeper and it's not woke me yet
Hi Sam, Currently looking for a diesel heater and not sure whether to go Chinese or spend a bit more on a Planar. Now that you've had 2 years use out of it, is it reliable and would you recommend. Thanks a lot your videos are a great help with my build.
Thanks for making this video. I have the same van and would like to install a heater for this winter. I watched all your video. How did you tap into your diesel? My brother went in through the top of his tank. Thank you.
@@TheCraftyBlindersvanlife thank you, this is a massive help. I'm really enjoying building my van. I am pretty much going for the exact same layout as you. I want to put my bike under the bed, what I call a garage. Building the van rather than making YT videos! Thank you.
Great job. I put one in a t5 recently and am about to put one in a sprinter. Was just wondering how you got on plumbing it into the diesel tank? Did yours have an auxiliary fuel line?
@@TheCraftyBlindersvanlife Thanks a million for replying I'll go take a look for that video. You've done an amazing job on your van. I think your videos deserve a lot more views, they are really detailed and helpful. Hoping to install windows tomorrow 🤞!
@@TheCraftyBlindersvanlife Yeah did some on the t5 they make a big difference. I'm in Ireland not far from Dublin. Did you carpet all the way to the glass or use trim for the windows?

Ours works a treat we only use it in the winter months and do a full burn where we run it flat out every few weeks to keep in good condition 😁👍
