  • Dr. Steven Rokito is the Division Chief of Orthopaedic Surgery - Sports Medicine at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. He is also an Assistant Professor at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra Northwell. Dr. Rokito completed his doctorate at Boston University School of Medicine. He then went on to complete his residency at NYU Langone - Hospital for Joint Diseases, followed by a sports medicine fellowship at the Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Southern California. Dr. Rokito has been an associate team orthopedist for the New York Islanders for nine years, as well as the head team physician for the Long Island Ducks for twenty years.
