I have PCOS, as well. There’s definitely a genetic factor. A diet low in carbohydrates and mainly centered on green, leafy veggies, fish, poultry and beef is a massive help as it helps with one of the driving factors- insulin resistance. It will also be helpful to regulate Cortisol levels- keep stress as mitigated as possible and to provide further support, working with the parasympathetic nervous system will help the body as stress arises. This disorder is so much more than ovary dysfunction. It affects the entire body and its numerous systems. Diet and stress regulation are key. Hormones to regulate the cycle is a treatment of a symptom and not the root. D-Chiro Inositol and Myo-Inositol supplementation can really help with tackling the root of the disorder. Sending you both a lot of love.
