They do gain something. L command cards. Those are super clutch and extremely helpful when your L is good. Unfortunately, not all L’s make proper use of them, but there is an incentive.
I realized this and did this at the beginning of the game and the guy told me he was L and I felt very bad after pulling the notebook out cause he left the game when we got back to lobby
Hopefully we get more skins for this game. Not that the dolls Near used aren't fun, but I also would really like a Matsuda, Aizawa or Tanaka skin. Maybe some guys from the Yotsuba Group? Heck, why not go full goofy and start inserting other Obata-drawn characters in there too, like from Hikaru no Go or All Your Need is Kill?

I don't like your insistence on doing investigate people tasks immediately, that's exactly what the Kira Follower would say and do and the person being investigated has no way to know if you are clear or not since nothing has happened yet in the round that would lend to your innocence. There is very little to lose from not doing those tasks, and a lot to gain for someone to refuse. The smartest way to do it would be to agree to meet at a time and location near the very end of the round (not "it just turned night" but with very little time left)*IF* the player being investigated hasn't been touched by anyone that whole round - even if one of the people is on the Kira team it doesn't give them enough time to steal the ID and kill them with the deathnote or pass off the ID, and since the round ends the innocent one will be able to immediately see that their ID is taken and with only 1 potential person for who it could be it's a deal that the Kira team doesn't want to do (it also wastes a lot of their time as end of the round is an important time for them to be killing players so no one can view their dying messages, or passing the deathnote/IDs if one of them is drawing suspicion).
There's also the fact that Kira could decide to win by progress instead with criminals rather than killing investigators. Realistically, Kira is sniffing for L
to me its just that since you can get a second yellow task at night if your day one is completed that I would prefer to just rush down the yellow tasks if you intend to pressure Investigation progress onto Kira
sorry this is unrelated to the video, but I HAVE to ask you: what are your thoughts on Hisoka getting Hunter x Hunter: Nen Impact banned in Australia? Honestly, although it's tragic that the game's banned from releasing there, it's darkly hilarious that Hisoka was too much of a creepo for them to give the game a rating
