Ten minutes in the 2024 CQ WPX Contest with a Collins R390A receiver

I have just re-capped this wonderful receiver and replaced a few weak tubes with new ones. I still have a persistent AGC problem in the “MED” position though. Works well in “FAST”and “SLOW” though.

Excellent Receiver Mate, works like a charm, Stable, Accurate, and hears a Pin Drop.
I have a couple here in Australia, one I have restored also.
