It's not the mic quality, it's the mixing and mastering styles- Trickle's is more buried in the mix, traditional vocal style, whereas Dictate's mix has Will's vocals more stereoized for a more modern sound so trying to mash them both up when both covers have different instrumentals and mixing causes it to clash like this
