I have always battled my demons and my addiction but I’m still here to listen to the most beautiful arrangement that you guys put together here ... it is such a high class performance I’m loving your version as much as the Irish lads. Just quite how you play guitar and the harmonica as one is a true talent .... thanks for the uplifting joy you bring into out lives.

@acuity67 I carry so much stuff to the gigs, you wouldn't believe it. But to answer your question, I have a backpack I bring to gigs that holds my lyrics binder, harmonicas, harmonica holder, CD's, business cards, etc.
This is SO true in general. I am just barely enough of a musician to appreciate what sounds good from what sucks and I have a whole new respect for the time and dedication put into a performance by a GOOD "bar band". The first thing that I though when he sang the first note was how slight the gap in ability is between 1$50 a gig and $150 a ticket!
This is great! I've started playing at open mics and getting into singing as well as playing guitar, after playing guitar for 8 years... this has inspsired me more!

I know this is 13 years old but I'm learning to play this song on the acoustic guitar and this came up on my uTube feed! It was so beautiful and the harmonica was awesome! You have actually taught me a strumming pattern to learn as I was struggling to find it with this song! So thankyou. I'm an avid U2 fan! I'm teaching myself the guitar and just 3 weeks in..I live this sing so much and a friend told me to try it as the chords are simple to play. So I taught myself the chords/fingering pattern and now just trying guitar to perfect it with the strumming pattern so thankyou for posting this up🙏🇦🇺
