I just Love Steve's Material that is like this. Bay of Kings, Momentum, Many sides to the Night, just to name a few. I know there is no Money in any of it. I never did see it live. I wish I did... While I love the Genesis Prog stuff, this is the music that really gets to me. Momentum came out in my Senior Year of High School and it was a game changer for me. It made me realize there is real Beauty in the world if I just look for it. Thanks for posting this!
What a different world than this time a year ago, but the constant, to maintain sanity is the universal language: Music. Thanks to Steve, Roger, John and Rob.
I just wanted to add a comment which I’m sure is going to really piss off the haters. I’ve seen Genesis 8 or 9 times, and Steve 4 or 5 times including with Genesis. Honestly, I’d rather see Steve. I love the revisited material and think Nat gives ant vocalist out there a run for their money. If you want to talk about a world class guitarist (including Mr Gilmour) I don’t think you can do better than Steve. Also, the thrill of hearing new material including flamenco pushes Genesis into touch. Genesis have become a cover band, which given the quality of the singer songwriters is a tragedy. Who would I choose to see in 2022? Steve Hackett every time…and you get to hear Suppers Ready live. Life doesn’t get any better 😊😊
I just wanted to thank Mr Steve Hackett and the band for their amazing performance in Florence. It was beautiful. Had it lasted four hours, it would have been better still. That being said, well over two hours of amazing music is quite the treat.
Better with age for sure! I've come to the point now that i've been listening to Hackett since the late 1970's (even saw him on his first solo tour of America supporting 'Defector'). In recent years i've started to become tired of 'Prog' and this kind of stuff is really the thing that excites me to hear coming from Steve. In fact my favorite Hackett album is now 'Bay Of Kings'-I love the concept of keys playing synth-orchestral parts, Steve's classical guitars, and brother Johns flutes. This track reminds me very much of the 'Bay' music, so i'm thrilled to hear Steve doing this again!
Love Bay of kings never get tired of it after all these years,Have you got Metamorpheus listening to that at night in bed with the lights off is a real trip!
@@truemansparks Yes i've also had 'Metamorpheus' since it was first released -another favorite high on my list of Steve's best albums for sure. I haven't played it in a bit but will now again since you mentioned it (it's near at hand) ! Thanks for recommending it as I think its perfect 'weekend music'....
Steve with brother John , Hackett always composerd for flute since 60s with John for brother John solo Flute and all Solo Albums of Steve and Steve Composed Flute for Genesis
Brilliant as usual and as expected ! Any other tracks recorded at Trading Boundaries ? I can see Rob grabbing his saxophone at the end of the video.... Such a long wait before seeing you on stage !
Off topic, but I'm very confused about something: why did you skip over Vancouver on your last tour? I was really looking forward to it but it never happened. Thanks in advance for any input.
I think they were both flutes, I think I remember Steve saying somewhere that John Hackett was in an accident and his flute had to be redesigned so he could play it again.
Do you mean it's playing sharp, or you just don't like the way the flute sounds (I don't mean this particlar flute, I mean the flute as an instrument). Struggling to make sense of your comment.

Incredibly beautiful and moved me, my eyes welled up as I listened. This is a gift, thank you Steve, John, Roger and Rob.
Es gibt nicht vieles, was so zuverlässig gegen Corona-Blues hilft, wie diese wunderbar nostalgische, sehnsuchtsvolle, sonnige Musik!!
A man, a legend!
Beautiful song. Casa Del Fido.
Another teaser for forthcoming LP. Can't wait !

Is that the name of the venue? Trading Boundaries? Gorgeous place for such timeless music.
Hi Steve, do you have any schedule for a concert in Barcelona?
am 23.3. 2023 ist die Entscheidung
Off topic, but I'm very confused about something: why did you skip over Vancouver on your last tour? I was really looking forward to it but it never happened. Thanks in advance for any input.
Is a video of this concert available?
That was beautiful but can anybody tell me what instrument the man next to the flautist was playing? I couldn't get a good look at it.
I think they were both flutes, I think I remember Steve saying somewhere that John Hackett was in an accident and his flute had to be redesigned so he could play it again.
@@joydalton4987 thank you. That's really interesting. I just googled it and it's called a vertical flute! x
Does anyone know if Steve writes the keyboard parts or does Roger?
Or I should say the exact keyboard parts. Or does he flesh them out then Roger elaborates.
Flute is too high...
Do you mean it's playing sharp, or you just don't like the way the flute sounds (I don't mean this particlar flute, I mean the flute as an instrument). Struggling to make sense of your comment.
@@adolforodolfo6929 Just playing sharp, sorry if it wasn't obvious to you. This is irritating to my ears.
@@projeKct5 I'll listen more closely
