RUclips has arbitrarily added ads to my video. I am appalled, but it is their right to do so. I receive no monetary value from this and apologize for the inconvenience.

I don't like this rosary I would rather pray the holy rosary. There 's no particular prayers associated with this, everyone prays it differenly. Also it was not a given rosary by anyone connected to God like Mother Mary is meaning it has no relevance for me. I'm not catholic but I love the holy rosary.

I love the Catholic Rosary and still include it in my spiritual life. However, the Anglican Rosary is a wonderful alternative for those who do not, and for those who like to use different forms of prayer.

How utterly fascinating. I know all about the Roman Catholic rosary, but I had zero idea that there was an Anglican version. ❤

I have your book and absolutely love it!!! Shared it with my home fellowship group and gifted a copy to everyone of them!! We had a time of making our own prayer beads and praying together. We wrote our names in each other’s book, so that as we pray, we remember that our prayers cover each other! Thank you!

Hi Bernardine! Thank you so much for sharing your experience with the Anglican Rosary and my book. Other small groups and churches have been blessed to use them in similar ways. I love that you made your own Rosaries! My co-author, Carol, and I are working on our next book, The Anglican Rosary: God the Son-Devotions and Prayers for 33 Names of Jesus, and it's blowing our minds. How could it not? JESUS-name above all names! Wow, what an exciting journey we are on. Glad you have joined us!

I found this to be very interesting. I'm a former, cradle Anglican, but due to the fact, that there isn't an Anglican Church in the city where I now live, I have become Orthodox and am now a member of the local Greek Orthodox Church.
In my prayer life, I use a prayer rope, which serves the same purpose, as does the rosary, which I used to use.
    Thank you for this video.

Sometimes I use each bead to think of something I’m grateful for, then in the larger beads I thank the Lord for those things.

There is only one holy Rosary and that is the Rosary which was given to Saint Domonic by the blessed Virgin Mary. That holy Rosary is prayed by Catholics, and no the Irish did not come up with the holy Rosary. I am Irish and that is wrong. Rosary means "garland of flowers" there is no such thing as Anglican Rosary or any other, pagans used to beads but not for prayer, ancient Celts used them but for prayer.

Wow blown away. I've attended a DOK event where we got a book & made our own Rosary. But I did not know half what you taught here. I am a 4th generation Episcopalian. My Catholic husband and I knowingly chose to attend Calvery Chapel (Menifee, Perris, Romoland) for 17 years in hopes of our only child making friendships. This amazed me to hear you attended CC. I look back on it as a mistake or dirty little secret. I would deeply love to hear your input on this.
    Thank You!
    Mary

Dearest Jenny.. I can't thank you enough for sharing this information with the world! I'm in New Zealand right now and I am so very very sick with my second round of bronchitis and head cold and I was in bed with the chills just scrolling around on RUclips - when - guess what you popped up! Praise the Lord it’s just what I needed and I can’t thank you enough for it and when I get back to Texas maybe I can find a wonderful Anglican church there and start going, find out what it’s all about. I appreciate your amazing sweet spirit and I was so blessed when all the ladies prayed. I look forward to a speedy recovery and I definitely want to pray the Rosary. God Bless You!❤ thank you again for your wonderful website!

    Anglican rosary? Huh?

    • @brianharris6437
      @brianharris6437 4 года назад +3

It's a prayer aid that was invented in the 80s by low church Episcopalians in Texas for whom the Marian focus of the Rosary felt too Roman in flavor. However, high church Anglicans and Episcopalians (particularly Anglo-Catholics) generally prefer to say the standard Dominican Rosary.

Why not just become a Roman Catholic? Instead of the Queen being the defender of the faith go back to the Vatican. It was just Henry VIII who wanted to get a divorce. Roman Catholic, Anglican or Episcopalian what's the real difference. Just pay for masses and indulgences that cling in the coffer.

Hi Jenny, I am from the UK and have just found your channel (whilst scrolling about uTube). It always saddens me to see negative comments from those of the Catholic faith about The Church of England and our faith as Episcopalians. Yes - the Tudors have much to be ashamed of but since the laws of those times dictated how people were to pray and then detached from the Pope and the Catholic laws - then that is one of the reasons why we have slightly different beliefs. Why do people spend so much time trolling other religions? The Lord God listens to us all…no matter what ‘faith’ labels we have ascribed to ourselves. Only human beings have made these rules and their egos seem to have got the better of them in many cases. Thanks You for your video. I use my Anglican rosary in a very different way as I do not like to repeat the same prayer over and over. God will hear me the first time I feel. Each bead represents the days He has given me and each will be a reminder to remember, to thank,to love, to question Him and ‘speak’ in his presence. Please. Catholic people, do not be so quick to judge everyone else who does not wear your label . XXX🙏🏻
