  • Known for his stylish dreamlike imagery, he stands, along with Picasso, as one of the great artists of the 20th century. It all started with the garish 1925 "Maciste in Hell" (the first film he ever remembered seeing), onto Charlie Chaplin, onto his short career as a caricaturist after the toppling of Benito Mussolini. I mention these as far as any artist can really be explained by his influences.

Fellini is my favorite director. The maestro! His surrealistic and abstract style is genuine art! I truly love his art, his filmography, and I think you've done a great job of capturing the essential for a summary of his catalog. Of course it's quite impossible to capture the atmosphere of his imaginative and expressive movies, but this is as good as it gets! Really fine work, keep up this great work!
