Fans who say we lost the league by losing at home to villa need to remember just before Christmas we had that dreadful run where we won just once in 7 games. The season starts in August, not January
but if we had won against villa we would have more poibts today than city, end of,,,,,so the villa loss will be the one to look at when we dont win the title

OK, let's do some quick math. In order for Arsenal to win the league, we need mancity to draw or lose regardless of GD. So if Arsenal win their remaining 2 games, even 1 nil each. That moves our GD 4+ City. If it comes down to GD, it means City draw 1. .meaning they have to close 4+ GD in one game to tie things up. And that's presuming Arsenal only win 1 nil at utd and Everton. Personally, I think we will win both games by 2 goals.
So it's not really as significant as you think.
Having said that, City will probably win their remaining 2

Facts 💯. Had Arsenal went for the jugular at Etihad when City were a liability in defence and seemed to concede every time they faced a shot was an inferior complex to park the bus 🚌 . Arsenal could afford to lose or draw against Villa. Drawing that game at Etihad left them with no margin for error in the remaining fixtures. And in the Prem that was suicidal, with the amount games left.

That Villa game was always a big concern for me, because it came between the two Bayern games and after the CITY game, plus it was the highest placed team left to play, Villa are 4th for a reason and CL brings a new and additional pressure that this team isn't used to, which showed not only in that 2-legged tie, but that terrible 2nd half Villa performance.
Losing at home to WHU hurt us, but which ever way you slicey/dicey it, losing 5 games when trying to pip this CITY to the title, is a big-big ask.
Even Everton have been in form. Over the last 5 games they're like 4th behind Arsenal, City and Palace

Im Utd fan , and i want Arsenal to win the league because i don't want City to break another one of our records by winning 4 on the trot. You are much better than us , we have had a dreadful season, but we have 3 or 4 individuals who can do something out of nothing. We are a chaotic team who play in 10 minute spells , you should win because we are terrible at the back , but if you go 1-0 down having to get 2 the pressure will be on , if you go 1-0 up it could be an easy day though.
You guys who wanted Arteta out a year ago shd be aware that any team challenging City shd be lauded as City pay twice as much in wages than any other club & have 2 world class players for every position. Arsenal don't.
